The figure to watch is that "2044" near the bottom. I fancy that will fall quickly.

On the very next Table to Will, I spotted this young Lady, who arrived 10 minutes late.
If she & Will both do as well as last year, that'd be some result.

Well I said it was carnage here - just look at this.
If my maths are right, we've lost 127 Players in 49 minutes.
They are doing Will's work for him!
A Will hand coming up, give me 1 min.
By the way, the Plasma counts DOWN, & each Level is 2 hours. They play FIVE x 2 Hour Levels today. There'll be nobody left at this rate!
Right, the Will hand I saw.....
Will had not played a hand, judging by his Stack, he was about 3k under his starting stack.
It's Passed to the SB, Tricky Dicky, who makes up.
Will dwells for a good minute, then taps the Table.
Flop 4-9-4, rainbow.
Tricky bets out, small, 2,500.
Will tanks for a minute. Then flats.
Turn is a flushing 2.
Mr Tricky now checks - gotcha!
Will tanks again, then Bets 3k.
Tricky picks up the Chips to Call, then an extra 2 x 5k's, as if to Re-Raise, & gives Will a big staredown as he holds the chips in his hand, ready to pop it. Will remains totally impassive.
Tricky then passes!
Will takes the Pot, starts to stack the Chips, then Tricky tries to make convo, "you have some of that?" sorta thing I expect. Will smiles politely, says nothing.
I tell you what he had - a message. "Don't mess with me, sunny-boy, you can sell all day, but I ain't buying it.".

I was in the Room just now, & Will's stack was pretty much unchanged, but him & Tricky-Dicxky were still duelling, it's 1 set all right now.
Shane Warne has just been hit for 6 (see what I did there?) & lost most of his Stack to Aces.
Am about to do the Phone-In to the Show.

This was the Plas 16 mins before the end of Level 1.
1,683 left! 2,044 started today, this is breathtaking stuff, 20% of the Field have crashed & burned inside 1 Level.
Notr the average stack - if you can see it, lower right - has shot up to $115,758.
Will remains steady on 148,000-ish.
The next Level is 800/1,600/200.
It does not matter how slow or fast the structures are, in No-Limit Hold-Em, the Chips fly around like there's no tomorrow. And there is no tomorrow for many of these players.

The Level of Lunacy has Passed, & some semblence of sanity seems to have returned to the Tourney.
Here we are 30 mins into Level 11, the 2nd of 5 Levels today, & as you can see, it's slowed down a tad.
Note they are now less than 1,000 spots from the money.
Whilt I go check on Will, does anyone know, to save me trrawling through x-teen spreadsheets, what Table Anthony is on, please?
