    I raise my Glass to Poly Styrene, having just seen this news....

    Punk singer Poly Styrene, former singer with the X-Ray Spex, has died at the age of 53 after suffering from cancer.

     He still lives in our hearts and minds if I remove the stake driven into him by the holier than holy he can wander the corridors of the Community and Al's Bar after dusk, but, be back in his coffin before maintenance is over.  Queen ?

    i to was to upset to play poker last night. i will miss neilbown and yes he was funny,i did read the post that got him in trouble, i was not offended in any way by it.after all i am over 18 years off age.double gin and tonic for me AL

    Staff vacancy - Due to myself and Hitman going away on a short foreign holiday next w/end, a vacancy has arisen for a temporary Bar Manager/Manageress. 

    Duties - open Bar Friday morning. Do not close it. Serve punters.
    Rate of pay - 5 free drinks/hour and a bag of nuts every 8 hour shift.

    I am so sorry but it seems you have mis-read my post.

    It clearly states that it is ONLY 5 drinks per hour, not 50 that Dohhh is accustomed to.

    Plus Dohhh does not get out much, so would not be able to socialise very well with the punters.

    He also would criticise everyone on how they were supping their drinks because like his poker, he thinks he is the best drinker on here by far!

    So, sorry, but I will have to reject his application.
