You have been looking for an argument on here for weeks about this stuff. Continuing to post comments about it long after everyone else had stopped talking about it.
Part of me thinks you don't even believe half the stuff you say but just out for the attention.
As for people claiming bullying?! Give me a break, it can't be bullying if he's the one continually trying to provoke people!

I didn't call Women "Tarts" .......you lot did. I'm defending them against Tart callers. Women have the right to wear what they wan't any where. Their Choice not yours.! Think you can have the last negative word.?
I was born in the 50,s when I was in my teens I wore hot pants the mini skirt,So yes I am stuck in an era that is the same as goldon,Last night my husband came in to the kitchen and said I have just watched little mix on the tv and said gee those girls leave nothing to the imagination and said he did not like there outfits,So not much has changed then over the years as to womens attire and I am sorry if I offended some of you with my bullying comment,I will now stay away from this thread regards to you all paige
goldon will you please stop now,I lost a very good friend from this forum because she would not let something go xxx And I still miss her to this dayxx

You say Argument ........I say Discussion. !
You say I'm the Troll ......... I say "Troll Buster"
You say Provoke ............. I say Inform.?
You can't have a discussion if everyone agree's.? I may not like what they say but it's their view and entitled to it.
Pingu wrote a well written, considered and opinionated post about how he believe poker could be better marketed to encourage more female participation, your response to that post did not inform anybody of anything, would not enhance any type of debate/discussion and would only antagonise people further.
How is that not trolling? What response were you expecting or hoping for?
^^ Really not the most considered of responses goldon. I get that it is tongue in cheek (definitely no pun intended)... however EvilPingu has written a very well thought out post which you have replied to by highlighting 1 word 'bottom'. Seems incredibly immature and a bit tastless.
@EvilPingu... I think the analogy about the pubs, while probably accurate a lot of the time, is a little 'sweeping'. I fully agree with your points about the womens tourneys and the rake idea is very interesting. It really would be great to encourage more women to play poker and I am surprised that more is not being done considering the current challenging poker industry conditions. Posted by markycash
+1, glad Goldon provided us such a great example of the kind of person most female players wouldn't want to share a tournament table with for several hours in his comments, also why bringing headphones to live Poker is actually a really good idea. Some genuinely cringeworthy stuff from him on this thread.
Agree with what you say about it not being the case for all pubs - However, I think women who haven't played in a pub game will still often have that stereotype of what a pub game would be like to play and be put off by that, even if the dozen or so regs at their local £5 pub game happen to be the loveliest blokes around.
How many chaps would take their wives( partners ) or girlfriends to a casino? A tiny, tiny percentage. Posted by chilling
Maybe, but that's one thing that will change over time when more women begin playing live Poker. And a well run, well advertised casino promotion with the aim of encouraging women who have never played live before to give it a go, and to return, could be a catalyst for that change.

Could you please explain " The school bullies turn into trolls and advocate violence" please.
Are you saying I am a bully and advocate violence?
As this is in response to my post that is the way it looks.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say you'll get a reply full of gibberish, ridiculous pre-school punctuation and outright sexism mixed with some awful attempts at humour that only amuses his 2 friends, Paige and Maxally.

If new people look at this forum thread and are seeing people condemning the sad old sexist then this is a good thing.
It would look much worse if Goldon's desperately outdated views we're being given the green light and encouraged by fellow posters. Instead, he's being rightly ridiculed by the vast majority of level headed, genuine, good people that frequent this place.
You're playing right into his hands though. He is obviously looking for a reaction and everybody is queuing up to give him one. Why not just ignore him? Posted by waller02

Yes , not a very nice welcome for women if they arrive in hot pants or leggings to be told their tarts by sexist trolls.
women can do allsorts of things just as well as men. the laws of physics and genetics determine which things either sex has an advantage at.
Women would be equal to men playing poker if they spent the same amount of time practicing and had a level playing field. If there were more women playing the game there would be more women aspiring to be poker pros and then there would be more poker pros who were women.
If you were a betting man (or woman) you could bet on the winner of the wsop being a male or female by working out the odds, just like pot odds,
x number of men in tourney
y number of women in tourney
x/y
Some men have difficulty accepting that women are better than them at stuff. Some women have difficulty accepting that some men are better than them at stuff.
I have lost surf competition to women and i have been taught to free dive to 30 meters by a women.
I am happy in myself and my abilities and am glad to be taught by anyone, male or female.

when you act like a sexist pr!ck then you shoul be prepared to be called sexist Pr!ck. you are constantly quoting things that have never been said, its getting very boring, I've ignored this thread for a while as its just embarassing, I've always felt pretty proud to play most of my poker on Sky, very little collusion, very very few Huds, a great community spirit, and a forum that was full of people doing great things for this site and for the good of poker. The work Aussie does is fantastic, GaryQQQ's thread was brilliant, some of the diarys, like Jacs. Timmys, Toms, Hhys etc all so different yet all add to the site in some way and the effort Tikay and others put in to get back to everyone is remarkable.. So to see someone like you bring such embarassment and indignity to this site is truly shameful.. I understand you must have an incredibly sad and pathetic life to say the things you do and to try and get a reaction out of good people who are trying to give some constuctive input and interupt a thread which should have been about getting women into poker and broadening the game we all love, yet you have just descended it into an unfunny, petty, embarassing example of what is holding poker back...
You sir are an utter disgrace to the human species and i sincerely hope you do not have a daughter or any other female in your life who looks up to you in any way,

You just don't get it do you?!
No one is calling or has called these girls tarts, no one is saying or has said girls who wear hot pants are tarts....what is being said is that by having these girls dressed in this way it is aimed mainly at a male client base and this only serves to create an extra barrier to more female participation in poker.
One of the main questions posed in the original blog was why is female participation low.
I still think the best way for more female participation is for the guys who play at this current time, to take females with them to casinos or play online.Getting the ladies to just start from scratch , and then venture into a casino, is a longshot.Guys currently playing, should make an effort to encourage their partners, if they show the slightest interest.Remember, they do have bars casinos, which may sway them.
Ah, there is looking after the kids to take into consideration.
Maybe ask Donna, irishrose, asmithx, koko10, Amarie etc, why they first started.See if there is a common denominator.

Let Women make their own choices ......... they choose (not) to go to casino's but to wear hot pants. You choose what you want to do , they should be allowed the same privilage.
