    Dear Blackfish3,

for some reason, the waiters at my local curry house got it into their heads that I'm a solicitor (I'm not. I'm just a bloke).

The first time they did this, I was caught off guard, but being polite, answered their questions on how to argue about a dubiously placed parking ticket as best I could.

However, since then, I get a different legal question every time I go to pick my food up (Chef's Chicken Special... Vindaloo strength with Mushroom Rice, and a Bombay Aloo... which I always save for next day's breakfast. Plus, a 600ml bottle of Cobra... which is also for breakfast).

The trouble is, it's now too late in the day, and too embarrassing to point out that I'm not a solicitor. If I admitted this now, they'd think I was a fraud who has misled them, and I'm not a fraud (I'm just a bloke). Added to which, my advice is becoming more and more dubious as their questions are becoming increasingly complex.

Can I just refer them to you from now on?

Hu, grammatical correction. "should HAVE got 6" not "should of got 6". Just pointing this out to you before Blackfish does because I slapped his wrists on this a couple of days ago (as a solicitor he should be grammatically and linguistically accurate).
