What improvements would you make to the site?

I notice that on another site that in cash games, poker points are displayed while you are playing so you know how many points you are making while playing. This is a really good idea as I have no idea generally how many points i have accumulated in cash games until I leave the table and they are displayed in the league tables. Tornaments you know how many by looking at the lobby so this might be a good addition for people who are aiming for league placeings.

On the community pages how about displaying the last entry/page first instead of being faced with a the first page you have already read followed, having to then find the last page?
 
Then how about a link back to the forum instead of having to go back through pages one has already read?

Incidentally, any chance of extending the log in time? I have lost count of the tournament entrys I have missed out on when I though I would be logged in but in fact was logged out, and then it was too late. Beside this its annoying continually logging in.

Also when will I be able to access the tables (and so play poker) on my mobile phone, are there any plans? My phone uses symbian software but there are a number of others.

What would also be nice would be someone from SKY to inform us what proposals they are considering developing so that they do not get repeated on here. It would appear to be a while since this was done. Is this thread now being ignored by SKY?

more time, more time n again more time..  I'm pretty sure this has made me lose alot of pots..  It should be a top priority on the list of sky poker to do's..  I'm seriously concidering stopping until this is fixed..

Furthermore,so many people asked for a deepstack tv tourny,i see theres one on sunday, Up to now 16 runners,never enough to play a "satt" to it......prob get cancelled to eh? this is not a moan towards you sky ,as you have tried to accommodate people for what they asked for,but runners turnouts have been very poor,Hence people like my-self who d`ont like "bingo blinds" will still play our major tournaments elsewhere....Once again this is not a moan but a observation.

and a tourney that allows some play  .."the opens" a great comp but its a total crapshoot towards the end, so a comp with a nice structure would be bang on.

SkyPoker should take time to ask its paying players what they want when it comes to poker, I like fast and furious, but I also like my bed at night too.

OK 700 players start at 9pm most nights, most are out by 10pm, and yes the presenters want to hit the cash tables at the local casino by midnight, but I for one would like just a little extra time, to a; enjoy these big prize MTTs and b; allow better decision making time.

Playing other poker sites gives us all an understanding how well poker MTTs can be run and therefore how much extra profit they can make by giving poker players the very best service.
 
SkyPoker needs to consult its paying players, their customers, and confirm just what we all would like from this site just as other poker sites do and then act on that information.

I'm concerned to hear this oynutter and can I assure you the last thing Sky Poker wants is to give our players a bad experience or to lose your business.  I will look into this specific issue you have mentioned and give you a call tomorrow to find out a bit more about your pc and browser settings. 

A download poker application is very much part of our thinking and we are working on the development of it at the moment.  When we have a launch date, we'll let you and the community know asap.

  thanks des for your prompt and hopefully helpful response--i do apologise for the tone of my last post but my frustration really was at its peak--a download would be absolutely fantastic!!---it would make sky probably the best poker site in the world!--i have played on a few, but never even dreamed of a site that really listened to its players and responded promptly and positively as sky has done---i really am impressed--skys response to the silly freeroll problem was fantastic--very impressive indeed---i am absolutely sure that a download version would increase not only the number of players but also the amount of tourneys played by its present players--i for one would play much more and bigger tournaments if i knew my evening would be error free

     1 love this site 90 percent of the time--players are great fun--community expierience is second to none! tourneys are really good(7min blinds in the open excepted) --that said--this could easily become the best poker site on the planet---thanks again des--and please give your technical team a wee nudge--i was told a download version was in the pipeline 8 months ago--i am very willing to wait for it and will be loyal to sky poker for all my poker needs--thanks des

Everything is pretty cool from the outside however once i joined i can't see myself depositing with the current software.Why is everything 6 handed?I presume so table can fit better on tv.
I like all the promos and tv aspect i really think a drastic software change is in need and i would definately play here then.
Look at some other networks their software and choice of games is far superior.

Hi Paul,

Everything is not 6-handed - though most is, at present.

There are 10 handed Cash Tables, (see Poker Lobby) but they are currently far less popular than the 6 handed cash Tables.

The Tournament balance is also now different. The TV Show uses 6 handed Tables for technical reasons, but new 10 handed Tourneys are being introduced - every week there is a 10 handed £5 Mick Jenn Deepstack Tourney, & a £10 10 handed tikay Deepstack Tourney. These are both very popular. The Tourneys that is, not Mick Jenn & tikay.

And I'm about to start a Thread to lobby for a nightly 10-handed Tourney. Why not add your voice to it?

If the players want it, Sky Poker will schedule it. But they need to now what players want.

i really dont get this too be honest we talk of this or that  to improve the site but if the tourney pays out past8 places u cant see them weird like cause theres a wasted bit of page at the bottom i did send to sky poker support they said we know and are dealing with it (ages ago) but the set up for chip leader is the reason i,ll be leaving soon example hes got 13k i got 1.9k i raise 4xbb (sb50/bb100)with  AJ he calls with a 92 os now why did he call with 92 flop J25 i go all in  now should he call here wi btm pair no ooo but he knows the system o yeah the higher on the leugue table more likly to do it too so anywayJ25 of course he calls turn 9 rvr2 any of his calls were wrong he played badly and got lucky but no we know better it ruins the game i see it too often at this and other sites too massive stack has A10 wee stack AKsuited now 3 outs yup u guessed i play alot like alot of plyrs am i the only one who notices this

i  totally agree with kev some of the calls made on sky poker would never happen in a million years on alive poker table if a player is on a two outer you just no its goin to come especially if your up against the chip leader,began to think it was just me!!

Just Texas Holde'em is not very exciting. What about Omaha, Stud and other poker games? The name of the site is SkyPoker not Sky Texas Hold'em.

I would add a preferred seat option:
The game flow will be exactly the same, but just shown on your screen relatively to the seat, where You prefer to sit. Give me a default preferred seat at sign up. Let me be able to change the default on my account, and let me be able to chose another seat when playing (eg a Preferred Seat box, where I can select the preferred seat number).

 I would add a HH to text converter:It should convert my HH into a standard HH text format, but replacing my name with HERO and the other names with VILLAIN1,…., VILLAIN5 (on the 6 player tables) plus of course set the codes for S, H, C and D, so the cards are shown correctly on the forums.This format would imo be much better for analyzes, discussions etc here on the forums, and there will be no outing of any players involved. 

I would lower the fees in the DyMs.You need to win better than 60% of the DyMs to be a winner on the lowest level because of the very high fee (20% on .25+.05 and 0.50+.10). The stupid thing is, it delays players with sound BRM to go up in levels, and Sky Poker would get much more fee, if these players played eg the 1+.15 Dyms and not stayed on the 0.25+.05 DyMs level because of the high fee. I would set the fee to 5% for all DyMs with a cap on the higher stakes DyMs. 

I would drop SharkScope, as players using SharkScope are using data, they do not collect them selves. Data mining and sharing should never be allowed in online poker imo. It is wrong, that SharkScope use data about you without getting your permission first. Yes, I have blocked my nick, but still a player should sign up him/her self, before SharkScope were allowed to show any data of that specific player. I really do not understand, why Sky Poker are allowing this.

And I would add a Forum FAQ area to the forum, so new players can read there, how they get a HH shown correctly in this forum etc.

we are re-introducing these (hopefully) in the next week or so. they did exist but we had a slight problem with them so had to remove the option.

Just two things that i'd like to see change.

1. TIMEBANK longer for non TV tournies. (deepstack and cash i need more time to think sometimes) up to 1 min would be good.

2. Slider Bar. I would like more betting intervals available on the slider itself.

hi i would love to see some omaha tournies,

but ,i have one gripe at moment,the community is a great idea,and i am enjoying reading blogs and so on,the only problem is i am finding it really hard to keep up on posts and topics...everyone has been so active and vocal,it seems that most of the topics and sub catagories are starting to overlap....i am not sure where i should be posting any more!!!!

is only a fact of the success of the community that has made it so busy....so i am not moaning just finding it hard to find to keep track of the discussions........maybe we could simplify it in some way?

is only because im starting to feel the symptoms of senility brought on by my 4 unruly children.....
