Rich, remember that tenner I borrowed you a couple of days ago to make you "look good"? Can I have it back now? You are not returning my PM's Posted by Cowgomoo
Ozzie got me again last night!!! I was moaning about him not re-loading on a cash table....then I doubled him the very next hand! haha - shut up dohh.
As always, when he went to bed, I started to win. 634.67 + 365.30 = £999.97 - krazy number!
I actually found Rich doing well at a 100nl cash table, about 15 mins after he left, a guy sat in his seat. I found aces and got it all in for £200 on a board of 3 5 8 J.
I had pocket aces, the guy in Orfords seat had pocket eightss. Guess the river? - Big fat ace! haha U picked a great time to leave Rich !!!
Haven't updated for around a week as had already completed the target last saturday but will update every so often as trying to get as much as possible for the month, been taking it slow this week playing the team poker tournies and the abit of cash.
Starting bankroll: £30
Last bankroll update: £62
Current bankroll: £76
Really enjoying my poker atm been taking it slowly as had alot of work, but BR is slowly and steadly going up.
PS well done rich have not been on this thread since i last updated and you was pretty much bust and what a great turn around still half a month to go keep focused and keep the good results coming.
what a bad day! back down to £34.73 should have stopped but did the silly thing and tried to make up the losses. should have guessed when my J J got beaten by 3 9! got outdrawn on turn or river even after 3 or 4 BB raises pre flop. nothing worked to get people off hands. all that hard work and back to scratch! I think I'll take a few days off to regroup. Shouldn't have jinxed myself by saying it was going well!
OK so i've stuck to my plan playing £2 MTTs and over last few nights i've ended up a couple of quid down overall but been playing well i thought and quite enjoying it again. Was a bit gutted when bankroll went bank down to double figures but managed to min a £2 deepstack for £30 something quid so now back up a bit thankfully. Really enjoyed deep stack but even having won im not sure i could do that every night took nearly 4 hours lol - great value though.
My bank roll is now £194 thanks to coming second in tonights £100 guaranteed. Should have won outright as I had him all in twice HU in a dominated position only for him or her to hit their only live card....
Still spinning 50 into nearly 200 in a couple of weeks is pretty good form so I'm happy with that.
thats my lot 2nte ( even though not in challenge) last 2.20 in account now up to 23.85 well pleased at mo and actaully up 3.85 from startin with 20.00 hope this is the up swing now
Well after one of the craziest Omaha sessions I've had for a long while my BR is now up to £1037.97, representing a profit of £537.97
Not sure it deserves to be, really strange session, got a few nasty beats from thin calls early on that cost me a few buy ins and then as it was a laggy table I made what turned out to be a thin call that worked out into the right side of a huge pot.
Cashed in a couple of MTTs and won a tiny bit on cash. Went on a hot streak in DYMs last night !! Lost a couple late on. Start Balance £500 End Balance £1355.91 Think a downswing must be on its way. (crash helmet ready) lol !! Posted by goodylad21
Started with £38.77 - current balance as I type £66.72 + £27.95
Began very slowly not getting anywhere with the low stakes DYMs - usual win 2 lose one, or win 3 lose two.....either way with the rake you're pretty soon back to square one.
But thankfully I'm actually on track now thanks to a 3rd place finish in the Facebook FreeRoll .....good old facebook.....anyone know what you're supposed to do on there apart from hunt for a Sky password?
The main thing is with Mr Orford's challenge and the excellent success of team poker I've spent more time on Sky Poker than ever before and enjoyed it tremendously.
