Been playing with £5 all month and max i was upto was £68 then went down to 30p back upto £35 then back down to 70p and back upto £30 now im bust lol. So my origional target of turning £5 bonus into £100 will still apply when i get it on wed hopfully. Bankroll management will be my priority for this challenge but still confident i can do it :)

Best acheivement for April was to be ranked in top 10 - 5-6 seater sit n go turbo leaderboard on sharkscope so im happy :)

    Well that's me for tonight.

    Starting roll: £50
    Current roll: £72
    P/L: £22

  • edited May 2010

just made a great and early boost to my £50 starting bankroll, finished 5th in the 5k gtd open, feel unlucky i havent finished higher as had a decent stack, but pushed all in on sb with a8 suited, snap called by the chips leader with kings, no help by the board :( although not a bad exit as i won £250ish for 5th, therefore my br for today is 315 which is a nice profit ;), only 185 now to go to get to m target of 500 :) gl all
    loza

edit: my exact account balance is now at £312.96 for the great results table from machka :)

edit 2: BR: £335.88 - small successful cash session :)
day 1 has been a great success :)

    £45.65 - so down £4.35 - it's a marathon not a sprint

    Ok, the bad news first.

On my Mastercash BR I lost £36.64 of my starting £200.  Worse still due to the changes in the show there was no TV tarting.  I might knock this challenge on the head but I'll sleep on it for a few days, was gonna be a bit of a laugh but with so few live hands now being shown I'm going to have a think about it.

On my main BR Challenge the DYM streak ended on 15.  In May I've played 12 £22 DYM and cashed in 11.

    Therefore  BR1 = £676 (+£176)
    BR2 = £163.36 (-£36.64)

Well I joined this little challenge to try and help me controll my bankroll a little better, so when i logged on with £28 this morningi was gonig to be sensible and grind it up.

So first thing i do is join a £11 dym and loose lol :( didnt do much wrong, 5 players left blinds 150/300everybody short stacked all on about the same, i was just the short stack.  On the button have kj suited big blind is sat out so i pushed small blind folds, big blind sits back in just in time and calls with a9 i think and it holds up.

The iload up a cash tbl 4p/8p, play aces teribble after hitting my set on the flop win very little, a few hands later end up getting it all in pre flop with 66 (dont ask) vil has aj, he doesnt hit either but unfortunate the flop and turn come 7 10 10 7 anmd he takes the pot down.

I join a fivers head up tourny and do mange to win that, so my roll now stands at £15.29 so lost just about half of it this morning.

Just gonig to take the kids mcdonalds, then ill be abck to loose the last of it.

Enjoying the updates guys- keep 'em coming.

Day 1 started spectacularly badly for me. I started playing whilst I was in the office and going through the show script- so perhaps in hindsight, wasn't giving it my full concentration.

Nevertheless I ran my AK into an ultra-loose player who re-raised me all-in and I called, expecting to be either dominating him or in a coin flip.

    He had AA!
That was £10 down within 10 mins of my challenge.

Then, on tilt, I piled in my second tenner, with pocket 8s on a 10-6-4 flop. Strangely enough, my opponent called me with his pocket 6s!

So after 30 mins of play I was 20% down.

    A disastrous start.

Luckily, I managed to recuperate one pull-up just before the show began at 7.55pm, when my KKs held up against JJs and then after I got home last night at 1 in the morning, I grinded away on two 5p/10p tables and brought my deficit back up to minus £8.

So 8% down as I write, but it was lot worse.

I'm expecting to do better from here on in...

Hoping to play later this evening on Day 2...

Ah, the old "I was reading a show script" isn't that the oldest excuse in the book?
