I'd quite like to see the odds of winning nxt to each player during an all in situation.  something that is on other sites so i would imagine it could also be added here.  it can also be helpful in educating players about thir hands value.

A second idea that i've seen elsewhere is the revealing of the next community card after the hand has ended.  This is pretty trivial but when you deliberate over a call with multiple outs but choose to fold, it is fun to see whether you would have hit one of them.

I think that a live studio event would be good.  Maybe have satellites to a single table ten seater deepstack with Tikay getting an automatic seat.

Have the presenters of the live tourneys dress up on theme nights. So on Halloween Rich O could dress as a zombie (not much to do for make-up there),  At Christmas Tikay could dress as an elf, on St Patricks DP could be e leprechaun, at Valentines Ed could wear his thong, and during Crufts Michelle could dress as a dog.

some of us are not church goers!!and enjoy a bit of old school sky banter from back in the day!!
when you could have a bit of a laff and light swearing !!which was took with no offence.
maybe sky should think of putting up cash tables named banter tables where as the likes of the common lower class worker like myself that like's abit of a laff and some good old banter can play knowing they arnt going to get reported!!! and chat banned !! because only players that wouldnt be offended would sit there !!

i fink it would be good to have an allstar tournement were a random 3 people are put into teams against 3 celebs. or mabe a live sky tournement not online . like at a london casino  a live free roll on fridays. jus an idea

This should be pretty easy to implement... On the "My Tables" page, a column that shows finished position.. You have name of tournament, buyin, amount of runners etc.. but would be beneficial to have this so you can see at a glance which tournaments you are performing best in

An official poker league, 1 point for going out 1st, 2 for 2nd, bonus points for players on final table, 1 or 2 games per week.  Run a 10 - 12 week league.

Rake taken from each game towards league winners payout, or winners receive buyin to primo etc.

It would be great to have satellite's into the more expensive Deep Stack tournies? - That way it would be within reach of more players and you would get bigger fields - The satellite's could be MTT (as is done for the Open) or STT with the winner getting a ticket to the Deepie? All the best.

A deep stack 10 seater tourney with a much SLOWER STRUCTURE - 12 minutes is frustrating  - 20 or 25 minutes would be preferable. You could try it once a week (say on a Sunday starting at 17:00 for example) to see how it pans out. Now that would be an enjoyable evening!

ok i have been thinking about this and it sounds ok to me but we will after see what the bosses think, anyway this is my idea.


tournament name: champions league of poker.


first of all you will need 8 teams with 4 players (1 reserve could be a possibility)

but the players in each team must come from roughly the same area for example the 8 teams could be something like this:

1, londoners
2, scouses
3, midlands
4, yorkshire
5, wales
6, scotland
7, sky mods
8, ireland

this is just an example and obviously the teams will be decided by sky poker.

the entry fee would be in the region of £100 per team which is £20 each if you go with a reserve just incase one player cant play on their supposed night.

the tournament will start on a monday night and something along the lines of 12 minute blinds maybe, player 1 from each team will compete on monday and player 2 on tuesday, player 3 on wednesday and player 4 on thursday.

for each game the points will be,

1st 10 pts
2nd 6 pts
3rd 5 pts
4th 4 pts
5th 3pts
6th 2 pts
7th 1pt
8th 0 pts

after the 4 nights of poker have been completed the top 4 that have accumilated the most points will then be put through to the semi finals, with no.1 playing no.4 and no.2 playing no.3 in the order they qualified. the semi finals will be played on the friday night with all 5 players taking part, it will be 5 games of heads up poker player 1 v player 1...player2 v player2 and so on, clearly it is not possible to draw this way, so the 2 winning teams that go through will play in the final with 5 games of heads up poker once again to decide who are the champions on sky poker, i also think it would be a good idea to mix up the poker on the 1st 4 nights, monday could be 12 minute blinds and tuesday could be 3 minute blinds, wednesday could be pot limit and thursday so on, clearly this will need some fine tuning as its all a bit mumble jumble at the moment, but its just an idea i thought i would out there.

Currently we are able to save notes on players when we choose to and also we can search for a player if we know their username.

Could we have an option to perhaps save players we meet at the tables as 'friends' and then be able to perform a bulk 'friends currently online' search to quickly find out if ANY of our our saved friends are currently online playing and at which tables?

NOTE - When I say 'friends' - you could also take that to mean - fish/rivals/celebs/mugs/grr I wanna get my own back type players that you have previously noted  ;O)

Hi Rich, heres a suggestion which involves where abouts you live.

Each area ie:-south east, north west, scotland has its own satallite £10 entry and the top 5 of each area go into a final tounrnament and share half the stake money and the rest of the stake money goes into the final tournament.





Now heres the funny one.

what if SKY POKER gives everyone 1p back for every time they get beat on the river......or would they go bankrupt...lol

How about a seperate chat box to the tournament info box, i like to have the chat box up but i also like to see my position/number of players left as well so u have to keep switching between the 2!

Hi Rich,

What about points for tournies.
poker points = satelittes into tournies.
500 points = £4000 guarantee
1000 points = sunday night open
5000 points = fri 15k
10000 points = £100 deepie
Or something along those lines.
They can be 1 in 5 or 1 in 10 to qualify.
2000 chips 5 min blinds.
This would then shut up those who moan about getting nothing back for the points.
You could pick the levels of point to each differing tourney.
The more i think about it make them all 1 in 10, max 20 players, then there wont be too many players flooding tournies without bringing anything to the prize fund.
you only have to hold 1 qualifying comp per tourney.

maybe do something similar to the wcoop on stars. I know it would only be holdem but could use deepies, scary, open, bounty hunter, heads up tourneys etc. And could culminate in a main event wih high buy in? If you look at the success of wcoop, im sure it would be backed by the majority of members.
