personally for me its very difficult to fold kk pre, as its the 2nd best starting hand pre flop.

but if you get 3 bet 4 bet 5 bet the clues maybe there that a player may have aces

I folded qq the other day b4 flop that weren't easy but it was a right fold.

I don't think I could fold kk

especially on this site cos it's a lot of ppl on here would go all the way with small pocket pair

Which look lot stronger than it is folding I'm b4 flop would be wrong move!!

Ive folded AA utg in a satellite.  I dont think I could fold kk pre in the games and stakes  I play. Maybe on a cash table with dome certain dynamics, notes and action behind...nah, couldnt do it.

Good luck at the tables tonight,  esp mr stokefc who is in the main, im playing the mini courtesy of the capt, hope for a decent run.

well i took a head prize for a £1.88 profit in the mini, lol

was card-dead all night, and i've learned not to bluff too hard on tables filled with serial limpers in BHunters.

eventually made a tilt / boredom induced horror call for 30bbs AIPF with AQ and came up against QQ and binked on the flop.

meekly bleeded back down to 13bbs after some small moves didn't come off, and eventually shoved over mactrad's M/R with 66 and lost the subsequent flip.

Mactrad was far and away the best player at my table, and im glad my chips went to him.

Well done to Flash, haylez, Teddy, Mac, Dagg on your cashes.

I have no patients for DYM's Haylez, tbh its my worst form of poker, I used to blow so much on it cause i haven't got the patients to just sit & fold lol - Best of luck with it though. It is a great way to build a bankroll & cash for points for anyone who has the right mind set for it.

i could do more as you say sit n fold find a weak link and find your spot.

since this is tribulations and cashes:

dohhhhhh has been encouraging / inspiring me to move up stakes. infact i am ashamed of the nittyness of my BRM, its just that money in real life is tight and i couldn't replace my roll if i burned it. however... the chances of me going broke even if i move to the 5s is pretty slim and i'm dithering about £2 games. i cant excuse the nittyness any longer. my C4P took me over  a certain numerical milestone for the first time this week, so i decided to make the big leap to the £2 games [ooooooohhhhh]

so i started open sitting the £2 lobbies, all was going as planned: running well, playing well. until i ran into a 'unconventional' player, he/she was pretty bad but kept on outkicking outdrawing and eventually out-playing me as i went into a tilt-fog button-mashing haze. lost 12 0f 14 without even realising it in an hour or so. no complaints i was well beaten in the end and it felt dirty admitting defeat and declining but i needed a break.

it's took me all bloody afternoon and most of the evening grinding the micros and taking a shot at a few peeps in £3 games that i felt i could beat, but i'm back over that magic numerical milestone again, and the move up will begin in earnest again anon.
