    Finished 29th in The Roller, played really solid all night, then made a mistake here, which ended up putting my stack under pressure.

    I should have reraised the flop, I still think it was a fairly thin shove, but I guess he felt committed......ah well next week then :-) 

    edit. can't get it to post.

    long and short of it: I have AcKd (sb) he raises, I reraise, he calls, I flop top pair Ks 4s 2c, I check call (this is where I should have raised or just shoved?), turn comes 9s, I bet 1/2 pot, he shoves, I call. He has Jh 10s.....rivers the 7s.........urgh!

    Well done everyone in the DTD's, great playing and very well done ShaunyT, great performance, jackpot next time ;-)


    I have to admit I am finding the DTD's pretty difficult due to the timings, can anyone spot at which point my kids have stopped running riot and gone to bed.....?

    Ran my AA into QQ in DTD3, would have been a great double up just as we were approaching the money, flop brought a Q (sigh) .....but a back door flush draw.....maybe, maybe.....no! night, night. C'set la vie.

    To cap off a great night I got slow rolled in a PLO8 DYM (unusual tbh as they are a good bunch) ah well tonight will be better.

    I'm on the 2nd week of an IT course and been far too tired for poker, hopefully only a couple of days more and I'll be back on the tables.

    meanwhile recently i've been mainly playing hilo PLO8 DYMs with Tikay's crowd. Have added a bit of Rosiness to my game for the last couple of days and it's gone down a treat. in the words of Tikay:

    "Gelders had a great night, he was taking more imaginative lines, & it seemed to pay off. Always respect players who try to do things a little different in the never ending search to get better results. "
