In Response to Re: Get in the Hole! 2012 Season. (Madeira Open + The Players) Years Profit: -£27.00 : Looks like it could be a good battle between him and Ricardo Santos, Would be good if they are both in the same group tomorrow. Posted by FlashFlush
Think Ricardo will be in 2nd last group. Can't believe Del Moral's -9 round. Hope he keeps his head tomoz.
Just need westwood to make a move today to keep hopes of a double win!
Cheers guys.. maybe I will carry on betting then lol. I might just pick 1 player a week on each tour though, just to keep the amount down. GL all with your bets in the players.
I got £10.80 back from Del Moral finishing in T4. Stuck it all on Rickie Fowler to win tonight @ 7/2. Posted by splashies
Hope your right, stuck a couple of quid on him yesterday @33/1,just hope Na dont win cos backed him few times lately and his yips are so soooooooo tilting
In Response to Re: Get in the Hole! 2012 Season. (Madeira Open + The Players) Years Profit: -£27.00 : oh well two in the top six cant be bad. Just wish I had taken more notice of the bloke in Racing Post who tipped Kuchar Posted by vaigret
Steve Palmer in the post also tipped the european winner @80/1.Every year I say I'm going to follow him but never do.He always makes a profit.

The matchplay is difficult to pick as always. I like the chances of these two though.
The Byron Nelson will be quite windy and difficult scoring conditions apparantly. Gone for two of the straighest drivers on tour. They should fare well this week.
Gay has had 3 top 15's in his last 4 starts here and Huh has had 6 top 25's this year.
1st day picks in the Matchplay MARTIN KAYMER v Bello IAN POULTER v Senden JUSTIN ROSE v Rock PETER HANSON v Lawrie. £ 2.00 at 8.74-1. When this Acca comes in i will put the £ 19.00 on Saturdays picks and so on till i chicken out. Chances are i wont get to that scenario tho. Posted by ALFIE123
Like the confidence ;-). Hope it does, cos that means at least 3 of my 4 will have come in as well!
Has anyone here been to watch a proper pro comp? I'm thinking of going to watch the PGA Championship next week as its only an hour and a half away from me. What are you allowed to do there? Do you get quite a bit of space to walk around? Do you have to wear golf shoes? etc etc

Went to the watch the Ryder Cup at the Belfry a good few years ago but went to watch the Open 4 years ago. There was no dress code but golf shoes especially in the rubbish weather we have had is a definite. You can pretty much go where you want and when we went you could get to all the main stands and it was 1st come. Its a good day out and generally loads going on in the tented village which i assume for the PGA Championship will be half decent.
If you cant see it on tele then I would go if not stay in.
I went to open at Lytham , no problems but you either walk round with a group, sit at one hole or duck and dive with various groups. which ever you pick it cant beat tele coverage

ive began doing 1st round leader bets as well as/instead of outright winner bets, ben crane last week in the players as point in case @ 50's, had him e/w for both, tied 4th on the thurs then missed the cut!!!
Mulroy has won this season and carded 5 under here last year on the thurs so hopefully ill get a good one day sweat!
