    In Response to Re: Four Candles Ratings-reintroduced:
    After a  good week last week I have to keep it up but why oh why do trainers go for races when it is not the horses best distance. iiii - 3.35 Sandown - BARNEY ROY 3-1 - Sure this horse is now going full systems go and hopefully the distance of the Eclipse will see him even better iii- 1.50 SANDOWN - BATTAASH 5-2 - This horse was a revalation last time and has obviously gone forward over the winter. C & D winner. Have to have a little saver on my old fav Goldream though and forecasts with Glodream and muthmir. ii - 3.15 HAYDOCK - BIG COUNTRY 7-1 - Would have been my four candles rating but trainer has gone back to 12 f his only defeat this season. They think he tried to dominate too early in that one and they will run him differently today. Only problem is he likes to dominate races but difficult for him to do this over this trip. more hopeful than certain. I - 3.25 BEVERLEY - TARBOOSH - 3-1 -Unfortunately missed the 9-2 and prices in between. Trainer going well with his sprinters and this won easily last time and form franked. Other selections SANDOWN 1.20 ZEFFERINO 10-1 LOST 2.25 GEORGE WILLIAM 7-1 -Apart from last time when drawn in no mans land at Royal ascot this horse has looked almost certain of winning a big mile handicap. Hopefully this his time 3.00 TISBUTADREAM -6-1-Another horse drawn in the back of beyond at the Royal meeting and won her side of the course  well and came ninth overall. Better luck today. 4.10 -MONTALY -13-2 -Won the Chester Cup and goes well fresh so hopefully the two month break when he has been taken out of easier races wont hinder. HAYDOCK 2.05 -DOMINATING 9-1 - Not so well fancied as trainers other runner but hoping he can complete treble 2.40 - HERTFORD DANCER - 4-1 -Won the Lingfield Oaks trial and ran a terrific race at royal Ascot. Lets hope she gets compensation here.

    I - 2.55 CHESTER -TOWN CHARTER 15-2 - Something not quite right with this horse form. Assistant Trainer said this horse will think it is running loose just before Goodwood race-finished 8th. Then  in better handicap at Newmarket tipped by Jason Weaver who has close ties with Johnstons at 33-1 and finished well for 3rd. Last week nightmare at Redcar. Now has course specialist Franny Norton on board for first time instead of 7lb claimer. Hoping he fulfils potential at last 4TH DRAW AGAINST HIM AND RAN ON AT END

    Last and really cant understand this , it is obviously not running to the form they think he is at home. Very expensive to follow now

    iiii- 2.30 YORK -RARE RHYTHYM 11-2 - WON AT ROYAL ASCOT AT BIG PRICE AFTER A LAYOFF, HOPEFUL HE WILL GO ON AGAIN AND TRIP WONT TROUBLE HIM. WINNER AND BATTLED WELL , GELDING WORKED WONDERS, SHOULD IT HAVE BEEN MY NAP? YES WAS THE ANSWER

    III - 3.05 YORK - BIG COUNTRY 10-1 - OK HE LET ME DOWN LAST WEEK BUT TRAINERS FAULT AS HE JUST ISNT A 1M 4F HORSE. hE HAS ALWAYS BEEN A JOHN SMITHS HORSE RATHER THAN AN EBOR HORSE AND SO HE IS NOW IN THE RIGHT RACE, JUST HOPE HIS RUN LAST WEEK DOESNT MEAN HE CANT DO HIMSELF JUSTICE TODAY. STILL TREMENDOUS VALUE AT 10-1 2ND RAN ANOTHER GREAT RACE AND DIDNT GET CLEAREST OF RUNS AS JOCKEY LOOKED TO SWITCH A COUPLE OF TIMES. HAVING SAID THAT THE 7LB ALLOWANCE DEFINITELY HELPED

    II- 3.15 ASCOT - LUNAR BEAR 9-1 - WON AT NEWMARKET LAST TIME AND THE RUNNER UP HAS WON TWICE SINCE hOPING HE CAN GO IN AGAIN. LOST WAY OUT OF HER CLASS. BAD TIP


    I - 2.40 ASCOT -BURGUILLOS 9-2- CLOSE SECOND TO BIG COUNTRY AT HIS FAV DISTANCE SO GOOD FORM AND SHOULD RETURN TO WINNING WAYS LOST HOW DID I MISS LAHAARIB EASY WINNER AND IMPROVER

    TAKE COVER 9-2  WINNER LED ALL THE WAY WHAT A DIAMOND 
    - TWO OLD FAVOURITES WHICH I CANT LEAVE ALONE. GOLDREAM RAN LOTS OF GOOD RACES IN DEFEAT THIS YEAR , IF HE COULD BREAK FRO THE STALLS PROPERLY HE WOULD HAVE WON A COUPLE. LETS HOPE HE GETS IT RIGHT TODAY. DIDNT BREAK WELL AGAIN

    2.10 GREENDOOR 25-1 WON LAST TIME OUT BUT THAT WAS LAST SEASON , NEVERTHELESS THAT WAS A GOOD RUN AND IF FIT AFTER A LONG ABSENCE HE IS TREMENDOUS VALUE FOR SPRINT KING ROBERT COWELL. IF NOT FIT LITTLE SAVER ON HARRY HURRICANE 16-1 WHO HAS RUN WELL THIS YEAR MEETING TROUBLE IN RUNNING TWICE. BOTH LOST

    3.50 HATHAL 11-1 - STABLEMATE SHOULD WIN THIS BUT LOOKS INTERESTING AFTER LAYOFF AND RUNS WELL WHEN FRESH, LOST NOT GIVEN A HARD RACE BEHIND STABLEMATE, ONE TO FOLLOW AFTER LAY OFF.

    i know its easy after the event but how did the betting public let a horse trained by a sprint trainer who had won two out of three this season at 5f and last time by 2 and a half lengths go out to 10-1 at Sandown tonight. He was brilliant value at 7-1, 10's was a steal . At least I napped it and backed it

    Tardy start and behind til halway he went past all and won by another two or three lengths and there was some last time out winners in it as well.

    not a bad day today with nice double on Madeline and Defoe and a nice winning nap with Crowning Glory, lets hope I can keep it going on Saturday.

    iiii- MARKET RASEN 3.20 - DAYS OF HEAVEN 8-1 - Followers will now I have been following this horse since it returned from the States and he has given me three staright wins at giveaway prices compared to how good he is. Hopin he still well ahead of handicapper and will reward me again at value price. LOST BUT TRIED HIS HEART OUT TRYING TO LEAD ALL THE WAY. 


    iii - MARKET RASEN 2.10 -JOHN CONSTABLE 11-2 - Won a tough handicap last time out by 14 lengths and the handicapper has hit him with a 16 lb penalty, hoping that not enough to stop him producing again and Davy Russell rides. WINNER EASILY AND STILL AHEAD OF HANDICAPPER, FORM SOLID AND FOLLOW UNTIL HE CATCHES UP

    ii - 2.25 -WHAT ABOUT CARLO 15-2 - DUAL C & D Winner and ran well last twice meeting troubl last time and still finished second. Wide open track so should avoid mishaps today. 
    WINNER AND DONT THINK I CAN CLAIM 15-2 , SEE WHAT DEDUCTION IS TO SEE HOW MANY POINTS i CAN GIVE MYSELF. PAID 5.25 TO ONE

    i - 2.40 NEWMARKET - ISABEL DE URBINA 13-2 - Ralph Beckett a good trainer of fillies and this horse finished 6th in this years Oaks .  2ND AND RAN ABOUT A BIT BUT WOULDNT HAVE WON.

    1.50  REMARKABLE - 3-1 - Hoping Gosden/Dettori know what they are doing dropping a horse to 7 f when it seems a mile his better trip. Should still be good enough to win in this class. 2ND, Swerved in so frankie couldn't use his whipand gave it away.

    3.00 VISIONARY 16-1 Backed down to 8-1 but fell out of stalls and ran no race at all.

    3.35 MAGGIES ANGEL 7-2  3RD what a surprise Fahey wins it with one of his others and the one that ws always going to win it according to the trainer. LOL

    Another difficult week and here goes

    iiii - 3.15 YORK - HATHAL 11-2 - Trainer loves having winners here and think this is a plot horse for this race very tender reintroduction last week which should have got him race fit. Only concern is trip, hopeful Trainer is certain he stays. 3RD RAN WELL I HATE NON RUNNERS IN EIGHT HORSE RACES!!!!!

    iii - 4.00 NEWMARKET - TOMMY TAYLOR 6-1 - Ran a terriffic race losing to good horse last time and hope he can go one better today. LOST ABSOLUTELY BULLDOZED AS MAKING HIS RUN,  BACCHUS JUST DROVE STRAIGHT INTO HIM

    ii- 3.50 YORK - STAXTON 3-1 - IMPRESSIVE WHEN WINNING FIRST TIME OUT WHICH IS UNUSUAL FOR THIS TRAINERS HORSES UNLESS THEY ARE SPECIAL. BEAT PREVIOUS WINNERS AND DOESNT LOOK ANYTHING THAT GOOD HERE 2ND

    I - 4.45 ASCOT - TOMMY G - 10-1 - Ladies race and jockey one of the best, Trainer in good form and won this last year. 3RD GOOD RUN AND LOOKED LIKE HE WAS GOING TO COME AND WIN IT BUT FAR SIDE BEST

    thanks rab still peed off i didnt have a little saver on Breton Rock, one of the horses I tend to follow but ran so badly on ground he liked the time before that I copped out. Should never not back a horse of that quality at 50-1
