Golly! Chopped the comp for not much. Not many players. £170 Then... Played some cash and was up and down. Had 66 and flop was A A 6. Led out, 1 caller Turn 6 Bet, call River Bet, call Nice little pot. Oh yeah, the quads bonus, oh, that's the biggest one? Ta very much £459 Decent night £670 profit Posted by Jac35
Haha - very good indeed.
Who said that kind of thing only happens online, eh?
Live poker is rigged Should we warn Sky that there is a new team on crack in the making, ready to take the site by storm in 2014... Posted by hhyftrftdr
Really chuffed with Wednesdays result. Just had a £450 dentist bill, so nice to get that covered. They really must think I'm a drunk. I never drink at home and only go to the pub a couple of nights a week. However, 10 hours in the casino and I just seem to go mad. They took a picture of me holding the quad 6's for their Facebook page. Urgh! I don't take a good photo at 5 am after 8 pints.
Still not caught up with my sleep. Had car in at garage on Thursday so only got a couple of hours kip when I got in. Feel cr@p. Car under warranty fortunately. Quite frustrating. 1st time I've bought a really nice car and it seems a bit of a dog. Had it in numerous times for different bits and bobs.
Dyms are a struggle again at the moment. Always find it difficult to grind them after a decent night live.
Managed to win a sat for 1st time in ages yesterday. I tried a new approach. Call every shove! It worked, never missed. Not sure it's optimal but it worked on this occasion to be fair there were only 2 seats and so it really was play for the win. Certainly widened my range up a bit. Annoying that halfway through I realised that I wouldn't be able to play if I got the seat. Had parenting thing. Ninja regged it so I could take the cash.
Mighty rams v the Dohhhhs Donny tomorrow. No offence Dohhhh but on paper it should be comfortable. These are the ones where you can often slip up though. I'm sure Dohhhh won't cone on here crowing if Donny win
Prob gonna sign David Silva in January to help with the final push.
gl today Jacco! I reckon Donny +3 @ evens is about right. After watching the Blackpool game I can see an absolute thumping incoming. Should be a good atmosphere if you're going, we'll take a few. If you get a man sent off early or something we might hold on to 0-0. Can hope! Posted by DOHHHHHHH
Oh bol lox!
Ive stuck Derby in the accy but if dohhh is backing Doncaster to lose it's almost nailed on to lose me the accy now

Looks like my acca is going to be down before 3pm on a Saturday, again!
However, if Derby r the 1 team that let you down today, I'll pay you out myself.
There's something that has struck me as odd for many a year.
Just flicked through some of the threads and there are 3 or 4 posts, just today, where we're told that 'live' poker is so soft. I happen to agree. Other than the big buy in events and 2/5 cash, in my opinion, it is a lot easier.
I am run of the mill at online small stakes cash. Live, I feel that I have an edge at anything up to 2/5 (except, uncapped 1/2 at DTD)
The baffling bit
I keep hearing about the 'live donks' stuff. I then wonder why very few people seem to go and play it?
Good chance to win.
Social side
Against
Tougher to win at
No social aspect.
I suppose there are good reasons. Opportunity, being the main one, I guess. Some live considerable distances from casinos. For those with families, it would be difficult to do it regulary.
Prob some other good reasons that I haven't thought of, too.
I don't (in fact can't) shuffle and deal cards. I got mucky looks when I asked for someone else to deal in a live tourny at Aspers Newcastle so ha ent been back. The other reason I play online is that I can play deep without risking 100 quid.

Yeah, good points.
Surprised they still have self deal there. It's quite unsual now. I'm hopeless at dealing too. I remember being kind of forced into it once. Despite my protestations. After 1 hand, which took about 30 mins, I was relieved of my duties.
I would never play a self deal cash game nowadays.
I know what you mean about the cash side as well. You really want to be sitting with 100 bigs as a minimum.
I think I was looking more at the guys who are multitabling 20 or 30NL on here. They've probably got over £200 spread across yge tables they're playing.
could be for very many reasons. Two reasons for playing online when live seems more attractive are:
1. potential for multitabling
2. dress code, or rather lack of it
i mean, i'm sure my superior result in the Orfordable would not have been possible live given my choice of suit for the evening, whereas you were probably dressed more appropriately for a live session.

There are few things that give me more pleasure than earning a living whilst sitting on the sofa festering in my pants.
Non poker related but what is going on down at Derby at the moment? 7 wins on the bounce, has McClaren even changed that much in terms of team selection/tactics looks like you will be in the running for promotion at this rate what do you think of Will Hughes as well is he going to be a top class player like everyone is saying?

Geldy is still on 'ignore'
I would asume he referenced his superior luckbox ability the other night.
More worryingly, he no doubt made made further comments as to his attire.

Ha!
backraising
Love that, especially as it causes people's head to explode with fury.
I think I was one of the original "lolpro's", over on 2+2, when some aggro anons were busting my whatsits.
Who said that kind of thing only happens online, eh?

Had no idea you were playing it tonight.
I got kinda distracted playing the freerollz
