i think myself that considering the amount of bad luck i get in the MTT i don't even know why i bother.
my only guess is that with cash tables most people know my playing style now so things like cbets will get more to fold even though they might be ahead, also nl4p does lack aggressive play big style so it is easy to read then because if i see a big bet made i will know i am beat most times.

so i think the truth is i can't seem to work out a playing style for tournaments because if i am too tight then my chips drain while i keep waiting and with hands like AK KQ if i miss then i feel lost with where to go from their.
i probably have too much pressure on myself.
i can still manage 6 cash tables easy.

That KJ hand, irrespective of the fact he rivered a five, you should really be pot controlling a bit better with such a non nut hand.

And that last hand....it proved nothing seeing as you didnt see his cards.....

Why are you betting 12p at a 40p pot with aces?!?! Thats so backwards when contrasted against the way you played top pair jack kicker in the toruney.

Pot bet, bet again on the turn and get it in. I think you have developed a mild case of monsters under the bed syndrome.

Just to add something else I have thought of, that last hand. Not beyond the realms of possibility he had a broadway cards or suited cons above sevens. The flop bet looked so weak its worth calling (stack size - was probably not the best of players either). If that made a flush draw on the turn then he may have been inclined to shove - especially given your bet sizing isnt really telling a consistant story.

You know what some shortstackers are like, they just want to get it over and done with.

Im calling there, would love to hear what other people would have done post flop, Tintin specifcally.

my views on the last hand.

pre good, flop really bad, turn im not sure prob best to fold with the way youve played it.

really dont understand your flop bet, what are you wanting to acheive with betting so low? scared of the 7? trying to induce a raise? ive seen you do these under bets on the flop a lot lately. you go on about the opponents some times with their strange betting patterns and not betting strong holdings but you are going down the same route.

if your bet was because you were scared of the 7 then why bet the turn, going to c/c mode would have been better, you know a lot of players wont bet it properly and if they throw out a comendy 8p bet or so its so easy to call and evaluate the river.

put a proper c bet on the flop, theres lots more hands that will call than just 7x. the turn is where it gets a little tricky since it fills in a straight as well. depending on my mood i will carry on betting strongly or i will slow down and go into check call mode. if i carry on betting im probably betting/calling off the rest of the stack. if i c/c then im looking to pot control it a little. as said some opponents will bet small here then pot the river (normally a tell) so you can get to the river cheap and evaluate there.

as played i think youve made a mess of the hand post flop. because of this the fold was probably right but you need to answer why you made the bets you did

what i was thinking with that last hand is if i were to bet large on the flop the chances are he would fold i have started to change my way because i find it a regular thing that now villians will fold if they have not got a strong hand so all i thought was with it being a paired board but no flush or straights likely a big bet and they would fold.
when i did a 12p bet here this villian still folded

well after have so much bad luck this afternoon where i was not even able to survive from villians who needed the turn and river card
things could be turning round again now as i have just have a much better session tonight i did suffer two losses on the tables but that was easily made up with my winnings

at the end of my session today my bankroll is £112.99
i won 8.79 in the ukops mini for a buy in of 5.50
and on the 6 tables i played on i got +£4.39 -£2.99 +4.71 -30p +£2.43 and-£1.67
the reason the bankroll is smaller than it was earlier was i had a bad seesion during the 6pm happy hour loosing betwenn about £16

had a good session today on the cash tables and a fairly good time with tournaments although the tournaments got ruined when my last one lost me all my chips when two donks shoved with 77 and 88 after i raised to 3xbb the 5xbb with JJ on both occasions. the guy with 77 should have already noticed that i held JJ when i raised to 90 so surely the even bigger raise would signal the jj-AA and not 22-66.
overall i got +£2.64 +£1.69 -£3.40 +£1.26 +84p +£1.22 and -50p. it the ukops micro i won 5.97 for a buy in of £2.20 while the ukops mini i won £12.55 for buy in of £5.50
i was very lucky in the ukops mini because had i missed my K on the river i would have went out to a better FH

this month hasn't been a good month for me with poker and didn't finish off well it was a mistake playing today because my mind couldn't stop thinking about money as i now need to buy a new cooker as the oven has gone on my current one.
so my bankroll finished with £92.21 due to a heavy loss today and my points for march reached a total of 3.7K.
my aims for april are
1. spread my playing time out.
2. don't get so stressed with my loosing hands in tournaments
3. try getting my BR to reach £250-£300

It's hard craig losing at the game, i had a shocker yesterday, it's just part of the game. Good with the bad. It's a great feeling winning and the opposite when we lose. Just keep your chin up.

With MTTs theres not much we can do, unlike cash when we can just reload. If tournies are not going so well at the mo, maybe give it a break away from them.

You do really well at cash at 2p 4p, i look forward to hearing you have your br up to 300.

the outcomes here are for yesterday because it was getting too late so i didn't think i would have time to type them
over the whole day i played on 24 tables with 14 gaining money totaling £27.43 and 10 loosing money totaling £13.76 so i managed to get a total of £13.67
the profits i got were +£3.33 +£3.41 +£5.02 +£6.01 +7p +£3.08 +£3.82 82p +£1.87 81p £2.40 £2.82 and £6.22

Nice hand, i know we are scared of the higher flush but it's so hard to put him on a flush, in position i would probably have shipped the river, but the calls good 2 bringing down a nice pot.

todays tables went quite well my small gains below £1 totaled £5.07 that came from 9 tables my others were £1.54 £1.75 £2.77 £3.28 £3.93 £4.31 and £6.89 the losses be low £1 totaled £2.44 from 4 tables the other losses were £4 £3.97 £3.47 £1.63 and £1.49.

the big think with tournament i believe causes me to struggle is nl4 lacks bluffs aggression and c bets so it is so easy for me to bluff work out when i am behind....

That 52s hand. If you are not betting that kind of flop, or raising that kind of river I dont think you should be playing at all pre flop.

Flat calling the river means you are scared of a better flush. If you are going to always be afraid of the better flush, dont play low suited junk.
