    Hi Dave,

I'll have to pass on that I'm afraid, I'll be up at DTD all next week.

To be perfectly honest, I'd probably have politely declined anyway, as I'm not overly keen on "1 v 1" Team games, there is way too much scope & temptation to "mess about", & protect your team-mates. It's understandable, of course, but the temptation to soft play bothers me. It's OK when there are 4, 5 or 6 Teams, it plays different, but "HU Teams" is a bit uncomfy.

Not suggesting any of you guys, or the oppos, are wrong 'uns, but you'd need to be angels not to succumb.

Anyway, the very best of luck with it, & I think it's really great that you are drumming up business & enthusiasm with this sort of stuff.

If you win it, of course, I'll be the first to congrajulate you......

Due to work, & UKPC, I've finished my PLO8 DYM's for February (boo!), I won't be able to play again until Monday March 2nd, so I may as well do my monthly numbers now. I'm a few days behind, too, but I'll soon do them.

I plan to try & qualify on Sky Poker for the UKPC Main over the weekend, but that apart, that's me done for February.

Numbers & month end summary to follow.

    Hi James.

Will ttry & do an Update tonight, or first thing tomorrow.

I actually played my first PLO8 DYM's on Sky Poker sice February 18th last night, & had a grand session.

I had an amazing, but very tiring, 3 weeks @ UKPC, but it's taken me a week to recover, it really did tire me out, especially the concluding 9 hour Final Table Commentary for the Live Update.

I also played the Main, a TSP SNG, and a LOT of PLO Cash, which, as Jac35 alluded to a few days (I will reply to that, too...) included the biggest PLO cash pot I've ever won. It was SCARY stuff though, & eventually the game got too big for me, & I bottled it, & walked away.

Thanks for asking, James, full reply & resumption of daily updates very soon.

So, I'd better start getting up to speed.

First & foremost, & WAY more important than anything else on this thread......

My very good (virtual) friend MacacGirl1, aka Karen, has retired, gone off on her USA jaunt, prior to taking up a new life in Corfu or somewhere equally dreadful.

If ever I had an online kindred spirit, it was Karen. Love her to bits.

Takes her beats like a grown-up should, never moaned, whined or whinged, & started that amazing challenge last Autumn which attracted so many new players to PLO8.

As a PLO8 player, if there were a way of "grading" a PLO8 DYM player for technical efficiency, I would say she was close to 100%. Never saw her put a foot wrong, except when she was messing about.

Her sharkscope graph is a thing of beauty, just a steady accumulation of profit over a 23,000 game sample. To make a profit of over nearly £3,000 playing mainly £3.30 DYM's takes some doing.

She also had that stunning cash in the UKOPS High Roller, which she freerolled into, & finished 4th (?) for some £2,000+.

Overall, according to Sharky, she made a profit of nearly £6,000 on Sky Poker.

As a retired lady, let's say "middle-aged", who has never watched a coaching video or studied any poker theory in her life, that's some achievement, & she does not fit into any of the usual categories for an online winning player.

I cannot tell you enough how much I respect her, & what she represented, a genuine recreational, who loved the game.

I'm going to miss her immensely, & I'll never forget her. My poker heroine, in so many ways. I can't think of anyone in poker I respect more.

    xx
