Just a quick update on the night, i played 3 tournaments in all. the first up was the deepstack at 7pm, which i final tabled, but lost a huuuuge pot as a marginal favourite and it crippled me! WP delta who in the end took it down! (do i still owe u a pint nw?)
Next up was the 12k bounty hunter where i came 127th, so a pretty deep run, but missed out on the money.
Last was the 1000 guaranteed, where i again had a deep run finishing 45th from 350 i think, but the cash bubble was 40! missy saw to it that i didnt make it that far, and went on to final table so VWP.
Dohhhhhhh and goodlylad ended up heads up in this one and both looked like they played superbly well, with goody taking it down.
Been all over the shop again tonight having some fun and went deep in two tourny's that I played. One was a £2 buy in ! where I came 5th / 166 for £17ish and the other was a £22 BH which I won [1/34] for £236.
Its been a whole lot of fun and hard work but I look forward to being on the show on Saturday and continue plugging away next week. So if you see me on the tables say Hi and have a chat.
Spread the joy again tonight and played a few MTTs. Was not my best night as I lost some pretty sicko pots with over pairs to FDs. I did however just come 2nd / 135 in the £500 velocity for 100 smackers to keep me up on the night.
Three wins and a 2nd in 4 days aint bad I guess and the roll is up to £1684, so about 484 up on the week which i'm pleased with. Now I'm off to bed and shall be appearing on the show tomorrow night ! Night

just want to say i really enjoyed the show tonight. All three really aquitted themselves well and it is a mighty close contest imo. almost impossible to pick a winner!
Sorry for the harsh questions i posted, you handled them very well
Just like to say thanks to the skyteam for the show yesterday! its really a massive operation. If you ever get the chance to go in, take it!! Special thanks to ling, Orford and tikay who were great at putting us at ease I especially liked orfords banter in the show before!
Hi guys. I just wanted to say thanks to all the Sky Poker viewers who came and said hello while I was playing at The Vic this weekend. It was nice to catch up with you all - I don't get down there enough these days!
Thanks also for the kind words regarding Naomi and David... much appreciated...
Loving TP - Hpoe you all have enjoyed it as much as I have. Now go vote for Nutter. Lets be honest, if we want the player who has the best chance to represent Sky Poker well in Vegas and beyond, we have to choose Ben.
Ive voted, Ive really enjoyed the total player shows, and watching/playing the guys since I left, I think towards the end, I stopped enjoying it, and started to feel it, in fact one night, I was actually dreading it. This resulted in abit of a down-swing on my personal account, not results wise, but I lost the love and passion for the game. It didnt take too long to come back though
Maybe a year too soon for me. In fact definitely a year too soon for me, Im nowhere near as complete as the top 3, which in a way makes me happy, as I believe I have so much further to go, and will get there, eventually.
But I've realllyyyyy enjoyed the shows and all the TP talk - you really get to know the guys, and will be looking forward to the result next week
Sunday night results Tournies: Played a few tournies tonight. Think I came 70th ish primo where I busted out my AK vs AQ. I also played some real tournaments. The stars $215 750k guaranteed - 4594 runners. I finished 163rd.And the Ipoker Sunday mil $535 1498 runners - I came 63rd. These have tough fields, have a large starting stacks and a slow clock - just like the wsop. I am very happy with my results and this shows the strength of my tourney game atm, running deep in these two tough tournies its only going to get better in the next couple of months. XXX ps. thanks ling for railing!
A question for Ben, Dan & David, from Maxally. He asked for it to be read out on the Show on Saturday, but sadly, as you all know, we ran out of time.
So, here's his question.......
"....It is the cash bubble in the main event at the WSOP and you are dealt AA on the button. It is folded around to you and the big blind is the current chip leader. there are at least half a dozen players left in with shorter stacks than yourself. What is your next move?...."
How short am i? Will another few orbits cr ipple my stack and ill end up having to get it in with garbage with 4BB's?
As its folded round to me on the button, its an easy shove for me. The only way i may consider passing is if there were 3 or 4 all ins before i was too act. But i would have to look at my stack comparative to the field and then make my decision.
At this stage of the tournament people are tightening up hoping to make the money, and aa on the button is a perfect spot to get a double up and make your surge when the medium stacks have locked up to ladder.
If you fold aa in this spot, you have no desire to actually go very deep in the tournament and win it, so for me its an easy shove (obviously i dont know how many chips i got, but you know what i mean)

You looked VERY short to me on the telly mate!. Sorry. Thank you for your response. Yes, you got the idea behind my question. Lets say you had about 5 BB left but there were 6 players left with less than 1 1/2 BB but not on your table. There has been no all ins on your table before you have to act and the CL is in the BB.
I shove it 100% of the time whether short or not. I'm not going to sit around waiting for the bubble, passing great hands. Folding AA would be a terrible error!!! I am there to win not to play scared!

Shove every single time unless were not that short we have to play it to get maximum value. If you pass AA pre-flop in an event like this your playing exceptionally scared money or your simply playing wrong. The only circumstance I fold AA is on a satellite bubble where you just don't need to get involved as 99% of the time you will make the money just by folding !

Cheers for your answer Ben. I think you have all answered wisely. I personally would consider the fold (60/40) with the bubble being imminent. I just would hate to be the bubble in a tourney like that. Lets just hope one of you are not in this situation and the only dilemma you get is - do you finish 1st or 2nd in the main event!!
Incidentally, the player who exits on the Cash Bubble in the WSOP Main Event, by tradition, gets a free entry for the following year's WSOP Main Event, worth $10,300.

Good answer - isn't amazing the number of people who go out on the bubble in a sat with aa v kk cl v cl and the guy/girl sat with .5bb left gets through. Seen this so many times so funny.
playing in the cheltenham freeroll and only got a total player on my table, great to see, ben aka nutter was just playing some poker. so nice to see a big roller playing a freeroll, just shows his feet are firmly on the ground!!!

They do this at Leo`s casino in liverpool. I bubbled in a £50 freezeout, and got free entry into the next weeks tourney, which I went deep in and did a final table deal for £550, nice little bonus.
GOOD LUCK to all three TOTAL PLAYER finalists. I've been following the Comp's progress nearly all the way and its seems to have been pretty tough. To all those that did'nt make it to the final a big CONGRATULATIONS for gettin selected in the first place .I'm sure you all took plenty from the experience and no doubt plugged a few holes in ya game and learnt a few new moves. And to the final 3, my advece is try not to do anything too out of the ordinary in a attempt to catch the EYE of the voters and the SKY POKER TEAM. REMEMBER it was YOUR game that got ya this far in the first place, Again GOOD LUCK to all of ya.......!!!!!
P.S. I think DAN id gonna be gettin my vote.. not that i'm 100% decided yet. From what i've seem so far i think he's the best reader of his situation of the three, and therefore appears to make the right decision/move at the right time the highest percentage of the time...!!!
