yes as I'm only playing the 1 table atm, I am being quite selective & keeping away from as many good reg's as possible...
day 174 saturday 6/12/14 2x£5 LOST £1.00 B/R £548.64 PTS 57 £5 GAMES W 1 L 1 TOTAL W 193 L 146 PROFIT +£65.50 game 1 bubble aipf with AK called by QQ lost game 2 ran rubbish lost biggie with 888 to fl on river, aipf v next shortie AJ V 55 hit J shortie's out next hand, so no complaints as 'booking the £1 loss' is a fair result. Ha Ha jac,
I meant over the 2 games but I see your point, I didn't put it across so well.
In Response to Re: £40 to £1,040.... dev's 2nd DYM challenge.(current b/r £552.54).... profit from £5 games...+£70.00 : Devon am i missing something here ? I thought you were playing 1 or 2 games max per day and yet here you are today playing 25 lol This only ever happens when your losing, how much different your total would be if it happened when you were winning aswell ! Its amazing how much effort goes into your game once you fall behind and if you could only find a way to put that same effort into things once your infront it would make such a difference imo. Now get back to the one game a day strategy its much more fun lol As always GL Posted by gran23
Cheers Gran,
Yes, you are missing something mate...
I don't want to grind it out every day right now, which I've said numerous times.
I could have stopped the session at 0-1 or 0-2 or 0-3 i guess but that's not my style as 8-9 times out of 10 I can grind those losses back as today.
I know if i put in more volume i would be winning more, as i did my last challenge that way & finished it in 5 months or so.
This is now all about beating the £5 games & showing a profit of £67 right now from them is fantastic.
I am not prepared to possibly risk losing a large proportion of that by having 1 bad session, which from previous efforts of playing them is very likely to happen.
I will get to my target & beat this £5 level if it's the last thing I ever do...
& the way that it's going it might very well be, ha ha.
don't panic... I know what I am doing...
& yes it will be back to the 1 game strategy today as it was y'day... I just didn't win that game, that was all.
That strategy lasted a whole 2 days Dev you must have a problem with having a losing day as you always try and grind out of it. Always the big grind when you lose a few in a a row. GL Posted by stuarty117
Hi Stuart,
yes, I know but it worked y'day didn't it.
I don't like losing & if i can grind out the win i will mate.
obviously posting this diary gives me a greater incentive to post the wins, but in real life away from this i have had bigger wins/losses for sure & don't bat an eyelid at them.

10/12/2014 edit[ btw, I was only playing 9 tables at that time, which as the weeks went by gradually turned into 15-18 tables.
I then lost track of games won & lost after this month, but I remember a period playing 100 games+ most nights peaking between 150-160 quite frequently. -:)

Todays the day you should be putting some volume in mate. look at todays promo. Go on, be a devil GL Posted by gran23
Cheers gran,
I miss read the promo earlier today & thought it said the top 10 players...
how daft am I lol
What to do?
I could play tonight I guess but am cooking tea right now.
how many points do you think you would need to qualify?
maybe 100-200?
i could easily get that playing 9-12 tables@ £3 games
In Response to Re: £40 to £1,040.... dev's 2nd DYM challenge.(current b/r £580.54).... profit from £5 games...+£68.50 : Stuarty is right about the scores needed last time Devon but that promo included all priority players and they are not allowed in this one so i would expect to need alot less than 399 for top 100 this time.
