£323.23? BOOMIO Well done Bus Bloke. Love the way you are patiently increasing your bankroll in those DYM's. As you may know, I've been doing the same thing for 18 months now, & it's the most fun I've ever had in poker. Every night I begin full of hope & optimism, & some days it goes well, others days, not so much. It seems impossible to have a nice, smooth, upward graph, but if we do the right things, it does, gradually, relentlessly head ooop norf. Or that's the theory...... Next stop £400, woo-woo. A very mixed day again today, yet again the DYMs went very well, and finished with a decent amount of profit (despite me playing some of the worst poker i have for a while in my last 3 games) but the profit i did make i spewed off in some all in satellites and a couple of bounty hunter tournaments, so overall i made a small loss, for the first time this month. nothing major though but i really need to work on my MTT game, i try and play exactly like i do in DYM's but obviously that is not optimal strategy as dyms are about surviving and not building a chip stack like you need to in MTT's.
*edit* just after posting this i spotted a £10.50 heads up hyper game against a guy i have previous with and that i knew i had an edge over so sat down with him, beat him twice with no dramas so actually finished up again for the 4th straight day

Another very good day on the dyms, and in the one MTT i played i did well, although i didnt cash again, i lost in a flip that would of put me close to the chip lead, Ak vs QQ ace on the flop, king on the turn and queen on the river, pokers cruel sometimes. but nevermind ill try again soon.
Recieved my poker bonus of £25.26 which has been added to todays profit. was being abit tongue in cheek yesterday when i said about pushing for a balance of £400 today, but nearly got there, just hit a bit of a bad run towards the end of the night.
No online poker for me tommorow as im hosting the monthly home game that me and my friends play.
Absolutely awful day today how only ended up losing £15 ill never know, played awfully in most games, and in the games i played well in didn't run very well never a good combination. hopefully tomorrow will be an improvement
Wasnt able to play on my pc yesterday so instead just tried 2 tournaments which i failed in as per usual, also didnt have a great start to today and thought about going back to the 3's to get my confidence up abit, but in the end i decided that id done so well at the start of the month and moving back down would be a bit premature, played through it and results turned around for a good profit on the dyms, however i played a few Hu games for a bit of fun and made a small loss.
another small winning session, not a lot to report, let myself get blinded down low in to many games, felt very card dead tonightso glad to have still come away with a profit.
what started off as a good say tuned into a bit of a nightmare, i was £30 up on the dyms at one point but a bad run of form left me down for the day. also played 2 BH's one that failed miserably, and another in which i finished 15th (top 10 got paid) i was in 6th at the time of my elimination, blinds were 200/400, everyone on table on equalish stacks i was big blind, 5 on my table, limps all the way around to me i have QQ i make it 2400, folds round to the button who shoves, i insta call as hes been playing loose since i joined the table. 33.. 3 on the flop GG im out, would of been chip leader if i held and with a decent chance of a good cash, felt i played well through whiole tournament, but luck just wasnt with me when i needed it (although i didnt really need it i just needed him not to get lucky)
but alas yet another MTT fail for me.. and tbh it feels like it will never end
an average day on the dyms made up for by an ok small session playing heads up still slowly building a bigger BR and most importantly enjoying the poker so all is good
So what started as a very average day ended on a high, after my first 30 dyms i was 16w 14L but a run of 14 wins from the next 18 gave me a very useful dym profit for the day.
And as an added bonus i played 3 tournaments tonight the Orfordable that went ok although not amazingly, the mini BH in which i took 2 heads and played alright but unfortunately took a bit of a cooler that left me with next to no BB and that was the end of that, But then i played the 10:40pm £1000 BH, and to my surprise i managed a final table, although my performance on the final table was nothing short of abysmal, i was happy to get there as i think its only my second ever final table and left me with my by far most profitable day of poker.

I kind of forgot to Stop just busted on through it instead
A not so good day on the tables yesterday only managed the 5 dyms which didnt go to well, and then while on my travels loaded up the app and played some heads up games, and lost the majority, still a good profable month so far, and just have to learn that if im going to play eads up games to play them at a lower level
a nice mid afternoon session, very happy with the results as normally when i play during the afternoon i tend to win 50% of games so happy to do alot better than that today
Another very good day on the tables, i keep tellling myself "oh this is just a heater, the bad results are going to come soon" but while it does last im going to enjoy it.

As for the news about skypoker tv channel being cancelled and the shows taking on a new format on a new channel. i dont think its best to react before we've seen the results so im going to wait and see what happens before deciding wether im a fan or not. but lets face it a tv show doesnt build a community, the community itself does, lets stay positive
another very good day on the dyms, ending with £20.50 profit, however i decided to enter 5 all in satellites in an attempt to get into a £55 buy in tournament and failed 5 times , played 2 other BH and took a few heads but fell just short of covering my costs, ran very deep in one of the was 2nd with 23 players left (13 got paid), but managed to get called by the big stack who had me covered by about 50 chips KK vs AK, he hit his ace on the flop overall i felt alot better about my MTT game, and think im improving in that aspect.
I also spoke to someone today about recieving some coaching its something that i have not thought about in the past but its definitely something i would benefit from especially in terms of cash games and MTT's. going to give it some serious thought over the next few days before making a decision.
Small session tonight as i spent most the evening asleep ready to set of for newcastle in the early hours this morning, ready to meet alot of you guys tommorow. looking forward to it!

didnt go to well and didnt go to bad so cant complain, i did play very poorly though and probably deserved to lose more than i did.
Small brag post, was doing some research on poker stats on that well known website and checking some records and noticed a couple of leaderboards that i thought i should of been on, so i submitted my name to be check and amazingly i didnt just get onto 1 leader board i got got onto 2, this is the first time ive ever been on a leader board and im very proud to be on it

WTG rlt!
I'm currently on one of Aussies leaderboards too and it's made me pleased as punch lol, so know how you feel!
another good day on the tables (i feel like ive said that alot recently) after a run of 13 wins from 16 games in the £5 dyms i managed to get myself to the £500 mark, so decided to take a couple of shots at the £11 games. despite losing them both they went alright, and my effective out hand in one of them i got it aipf AK vs A4 vs QQ and A4, ace came flop and 4 on the turn, so that was me down to one big blind and out , the other one, i played pretty poorly. overally i dont think im far of being ready for the £11 games but ijm dropping back down again when i next play just to get me back over that £500 mark.
Playing the DTD forum event in newcastle which im looking forward to, abit nervous about playing live but im sure it will be fine, seems like just announcing your plays before you do anything with your chips is the best way to go. will be a good experience regardless of the result.
Saturday was a Great day was fun playing live, and good to meet so many of the people that i play online with day in day out, what a colourful bunch of characters they are! the tournaments themselves didn't go very well for me, the first table i sat on was great everyone was having a laugh the banter was flowing and every time i raised from the Button liamboi on my left would 3 bet me. thinking back over it i probably should have 4 bet jammed him every time as i don't think i raised it once without a premium hand flat calling wasn't working out for me as i never knew where to put him on the flop.
after the break the table was moved straight away and due to losing a big hand just before the break i was a short stack, i ended up shoving kj on an all red q 10 10 8 6 board or soemthing of that sorts and got called by an underpair. brave call i had 3x it pre flop and he was the only caller, then it got checked down to the river. bad play by me, any bet on the flop probably gets rid of him but hey ho you live and learn.
I decided to enter the casinos BH tournament in the evening, and had the pleasure of being sat with one CTBN (colin) who absolutely crushed it. I have never seen anyone play the way he did. no one on the table knew how to deal with it, you could never give him credit for a hand because of how loose he was playing, yet every time someone tried looking him up on it he had the nuts. my game never got going i was card dead for the first 90 minutes or so and had no way of entering pots as colin was raising anyone who had the audacity to enter a pot with him. i ended up with JJ and managed to hit a set on the flop, unfortunately the guy to my right had called with 10 k and flopped a straight, he had lost a big pot moments before so i was still in but with only 8 BB, i shoved KQ got called by K7 and lady luck just wasn't with me .
luckily for me the whole event was a bit cheaper than expected as my travel was paid for by a family member i was staying with, all my meals were supplied by the same family member, and i managed to win £40 using the £5 free slot machine credit you get for joining the casino so overall a cost of £50 for travel two poker tournaments breakfast lunch and dinner. Cant complain about that.
back to the online play and my first session back online was absolutely horrendous playing 12 games and losing 10 of them! ouch, i haven't had a session that bad in a long time.
yesterdays session was a bit better, 17 games played and 11 won for a small profit, haven't had access to the spread sheet i use due to not being at home so ant do my normal table but here's a small update on where i am at now

really hoping to push on for the 3000 points and hopefully keep the profits rolling in with it.
Again it was nice to meet everyone i really hope another event can be set up soon as i for one would definitely re attend. back to the grind.
I didnt know it was possible to be so annoyed at a session of poker but come away in profit. i feel like i played really well but ran awfully so to come away with a + session was more a relief than anything.

A poor end to the day but a very good session overall, including a 9th place finish in one of the 1.5k Bh's decided to play the turbo dyms instead of the regular ones today just for a bit of a change, and had some really good results, might do the same again tomorow, if i fail my first couple of shots at the £11 games.
Not a great day yesterday, did ok on the dyms only making a small loss, but only managed a min cash in one tournament, i also tried about 6/7 all in sats to get into the 10k Bh but failed them all so overall lost close to £40 but dont feel to bad about it as there wasnt alot i could do about it.
So i think its fair to say my move over to the turbo dymsd didnt go as well as expected, over the last 3 days ive played 80, winning 40 and losign 40, had a very poor end to the month really so im glasd it got off to a good start, going to move back to the regular games now as i feel i have more of an edge in those.
Its been an awful end to the month, another heavy loss last night, still i finished well in profit for the month so i shouldnt grumble, however confidence is very low, im going to stick to the £5 games, but im going to reduce it to 2 tables for a bit
