Thought the 9pm £22 BH may get to stay as I thought it seemed to hit the gtd (£1500), although I don't actually have any evidence of this. Just liked it as it finished around midnight so a final table didn't mean being up until after 1am.
Finally it's here, a main event in 2017 without the words 'Bounty Hunter'
Unless the tourney has be renamed Iceman Harpoonist
Not meant to be a dig at the January BH festival, just wanted to post a positive on still being able to play a varied range of decent sized tourneys on Sky. A change is as good as a rest, that sort of thing.
i see that the £1,500 gtd £22 BH at 21:00 was cancelled on Monday night (having been in the lobby earlier in the day). Was it replaced? Was it just cancelled? Has it been withdrawn in favour of the £55 (£110 on tuesday) tournament? Sky_James can you advise please? Thanks Posted by aussie09
It has been replaced with the ever popular sheriff/summit.

Just to expand on that, & James reply, the lobby is re-populated by James every Monday during the morning, so you will often see out of date stuff there on a Monday morning until James sorts everything.

it is helpful to read here that it was either cancelled or replaced.

And you will also get notifications in the chat box that the MTT is about to begin and link you to a cancelled lobby!

For how annoying the constant chat box spam is, i actually did click on one last night for the advertised £22 9pm BH.....which didn't exist.

Hey James, obv my previous comment was meant in jest, and by no means a dig. I enjoy BH's, although also agree with others, variety is the spice of life, after all.
I appreciate that the numbers speak for themselves though, and the contents of the lobby is a reflection of that.
Although, due to work commitments, I only get to play a few main events a week, very much enjoyed January's promo. Perhaps next time, as the 7.45 struggled, the higher buy in could be the sheriff?
In Response to Re: MTT changes & discussion thread : Morning Melty. I'll pass that across to James & Sam. Guess the answer will depend on how it performed/performs. Posted by Tikay10
Did it suffer on particular days? Maybe it could be just kept on certain days say Thurs-Sat (have left Sunday out as I dont think it would work with £55bh at 7 and £110 Sunday Major at 8) if having it on every day seems to much.

I've no idea Matt, that's why I have sent it across to Sam & James.
I would imagine that if it is able to cover x nights per week, they'd like to run it, but if it is gonna cost a bomb in overlay, they won't.
Anyway, it's with They Who Make The Rules now. God help us all.
I realised the "mini" last night had 3k starting stack, if this is the case for all other "mini" events that would be a really good change imo ! 2k just doesnt seem enough
I gather last night's SUMMIT, which is a £110, had an £8,000 Guarantee last night & fell well short (68 entrants = £1,200 overlay). On that basis, the likely answer is "no". Posted by Tikay10
If it was to be done say on a Saturday would this allow more players to sat into it? Also last night there was only a LR sat with more than 1 seat guaranteed whereas for mains there is a 3pm/6pm/LR sat. The 3pm might struggle but I would of thought a 6pm or 7pm sat with a few seats guaranteed would work and help meet the guarantee.
