Quick question - Can players who don't make the cut from one mentor then be selected by another mentor?
Sadly i havnt the faintest what this is all about,i was off site for 6 weeks and was never ONCE e mailed about changes etc,as a valued customer i feel a little left out tbh.
To echo Richard's sentiments "Reasonably worded questions or requests for clarification are fine. Constructive criticism is fine."
So please be mindful of the content in your replies as it's very easy to find yourself no longer a part of the communtiy forum as a result of a poorly thought out contribution to this thread

Tikay i hope you took my points onboard in the way they were intended (a positive way)
like i said i definitley if in eds position would have selected penguin without hesitation, i would however like to come back to this 7 mtt's a week point.
Variance is huge in mtt's as you pointed out earlier and infact 7 mtt's is nowere near enough to judge a player, from this viewpoint are the mentors using h historys sharkscope e.t.c from before the competition started to get a more rounded view of a player?

just like to give my congratulation to the chosen three ,
its a great achievement and no matter what happens to you three from here,
you are all winners ,
i looked up all three names on sharkscope ,
for those who don't know what this is ,
it tracks players in all games except cash ,
going on these stats ,
it seems the players have not just been picked on short term form ,
but their overall record since joining sky ,
this is very good to see,
so its silly to say skypoker are using this promotion to con players,
and this competition is for profit alone.
i say this as a small stakes very profitable player on sky,

given the email I recieve from sky this morning saying that the "privelige" of going on the forum will be denied to me (sob sob).
You can come on here and bully me all you like but I have my opinion and it seems to have rattled the lot of you.
I did say last night that I wasn't going to waste anymore effort on this subject but it seems to warrant furthur inspection.
I will try OFFOM see what they can do.
I would like to remind you orford tikay and the rest that you can't ban me off other forums for stating an opinion.
Typical luvvie types who cant take a hint of critiscism without flying into a strop.

We need to remember that this is 2009, England and not 1940, Germany.
I think its worthwhile to note that I expected an avalanche of messages opposing my views but the pms I have had and the relative silence on here is leading me to think that there may be more than a ripple of discontent with the programme.
I also note that although people will PM me they are too afraid to come on here because of the overeaction of sky and the presenter in particular who attacked me on a personal level.
It appears that all the poker players are equal on sky poker but some are more equal than the others , to borrow from George Orwell quite aptly.
Maybe the sky team think its 1984 or as you say Germany 1940.
Lets debate yes , but keep it happy

To many people on this site want something for nothing and complain when they dont get it. This is a big prize sky are giving away and to enter the running you do not need to do anything extra. We are here to play poker so just get on the tables and enjoy yourselves and maybe make some money. That is the way to stand a chance not moaning in the forums.
I will work on my complaint with some help which has been offered .
I wont be threateed by sky , sky presenters or anyone else.
Lets just see what happens to this "competition".
As I said the subject would be dead and buried if I hot not recieved threatening emails and posts from the sky team this morning.
Constructive criticism is fine as every body is welcome to have their own opinions on certain topics but it is when these turn into personal attacks that action has to be taken.
So please bear in mind not to be abusive or cause offence to individuals when writing your posts and continue to use the forum as it was intended.

Penguin7 - someone who I am always wary of in mtt's. Dan's achievements speak for them self. And Cotlad who I play alot of cash sessions with is an excellent player also.
