Didn't play that much today, but had a very profitable evening! Decided to play the mini tonight - it's outside my bankroll but I'm playing very well at the moment so I decided to take a shot - turned out to be a good thing to do!
Played 1 x £2000 Mini B/H (result: 44th for £7.22, also got £6.24 in head prizes)
Played 2 x £3 Double Your Money (results: 3rd, 3rd)
Those DYM results mean I am currently on a 9-game DYM win streak :-)

Played 1 x £400 Bounty Hunter (result: 44th/376 - top 40 cashed annoyingly, but I did take £3.18 in head prizes)

Also "officially" played in the Sky Bet Freeroll but wasn't at the computer at the time to actually play .. still managed to finish 284th out of 639 players!
Balance now £73.85 and my DYM win streak is now 10 games. Anyone know what the record is?

just checked scope and the best this year is 19 in row, you must be joint 20th with 10.
But I remember it was a lot higher than that at the end of last year maybe in the 20s or 30s.

A really frustrating day, seem to be doing poorly in MTT's of late. It's not even that I'm running badly or getting out-drawn. However when I have a good hand, everyone folds, and when I try bluff, I run into something good .. how annoying! Perhaps I should take a break from MTT's tomorrow and focus on STT's to build the balance back up.

Made one attempt to qualify for the main event yesterday and didn't manage it. That ultimately meant I ended the day on a small loss.

Was running terribly the early part of yesterday, worse than I ever have before! The first two DYM's I played of the day were running side by side .. I made straights in both on my first and second hands of the tournament respectively. However they were beaten by Quads on one table and a Full house on the other, big sigh!
Nevertheless, I managed to turn it round towards the end of the day! Still ended the day with a small loss though.

ARGH variance!! The funny thing is that I'm running really well in terms of my hole cards but I keep getting out flop, turn and rivered!! I figure posting here about it is better than tilting on the tables ..

The plan is to start playing the £5 level at £125 then I would probably move up to the £10 level at £250.
I don't really have a target as such, but if I ever reach £1000 then I would withdraw £500 and then my next withdrawal would come at a large sum (maybe £2500 or £5000) - this will take a LONG time though haha

Apart from an unusual losing day on the DYM's yesterday, the thing that seems to be hampering my balance most is the satellites. So I have decided that I will now only play a maximum of two satellites on both Tuesday & Thursday for the main events (my favourite ones of the week). However, if I do qualify for an event, I will go up to a maximum of three satellites as it's a good way to earn some extra cash!
Make a decision on whether it is worth playing them based on hard facts (+EV or -EV) not your feeling about them which will be coloured by the emotion of recent results.

Not much to say really, as I played in yesterday was the PS4 freeroll. Finished in 276th and obviously didn't cash. I shoved 77 pre-flop against a bigstack bully who was consistently 3xing pre-flop. I figured he was playing very loose and the chances are that he didn't have anything. Unfortunately for me, he had a raggy ace - and hit the ace.
Balance remains the same!
I'm not entirely sure how much I can play today as I start a new job! I begin work at the very precise time of 12:08 .. (seriously!). Maybe I will play some games this evening if I get time though :-)
... and I'm not dead, I just haven't been able to play much due to my work schedule being quite hectic.
