Sky James wrote "I think the bounty goes to (etc)...." which kinda suggests he does not really know for sure.
My suggestion if this might cause some to be exercised - & I can understand why that may be the case - would be to give it a miss tonight, sit it out & watch, or wait & see what others say.
Then, if you are OK with it, play it on future nights.
It's been put on at short notice, so let's see how it goes.
In Response to Re: Would it be possible to have a nightly Omaha 8 B/H? (Added to schedule for 9:15pm tonight £100 GTD) : I wouldn't worry, I see Hendo is registered so that should draw the crowds in P.S... (Joking Hendo & pretty sure you will now procede to stack me for that joke!) Also @Koko... I wouldn't overly worry, just do what you done last night and I am sure a few scalps will come your way Posted by markycash
I am the carrot, as soon as there are enough registered I am de registering and booking the win :-)

Regarding any uncertainty about bounties... It won't take many pots to figure who gets it and what decides it. It will be the same playing field for all so whatever it turns out to be is fine by me. Just happy to see the extra MTT added
^^^^ Yes, that echoes my thoughts. Posted by Tikay10
So can we expect your good self to take part in the first ever PLO8 BH on Sky and help get the numbers up? I promise I will be more selective in the spanners in wield

Not tonight Mark, I have company for the weekend, arriving in an hour or two, so not much poker for me until Sunday evening.
Personally - & I know I'm an oddbod - a PLO8 BH makes no sense to me, PLO8 does not need "revving up" imo, but folks love BH's, so it may well attract many NLH BH players, which can't be a bad thing.
I may give it a go a few nights just to get a feel of it though.

your so right, NL08 makes some sense. PL08 already has players calling all over the place chasing, add Bounties and every pot will be like 5 way!-the splits dont really make any sense either!

No worries, hopefully the game gets a few runners and you can join next week

Makes no sense or logic to me, but each to their own, & if they enjoy it, & it brings across NLH players, that's great.
I think it will do well actually, folks can't get enough BH's here.
It's not my idea of poker Heaven, but we are all different.
Thanxs for the vote of confidence Markycash but I will take Mr T's advice and try watching as I have no idea of playing BH's anyway plus it will be interesting to see if suzy666 is right and it becomes a free for all just for someones head.

It's Pot Limit Koko, so unlike No Limit, you can't just shove all-in.
I'm not convinced that Pot Limit and Bounty Hunters are a good blend though.

The NLO8 ones actually play the way Suzy suggested. PL keeps a lot more control and less bingo.
Nearly sneaked the £5.50 and £11er double but fell at the last hurdle. Tips hat to Syd, WP sir!
Really enjoyed the game and it seemed to have a nice feel about it, cracking mix of players on the table and rail and with a few of the NLHE crew joining in it resulted in the tourney almost quadrupling its guarantee.
Is there room to ask for a £5.50er to be added too?
Cracking turnout, hopefully more of the same tomorrow! GG everyone.

Really glad it went well.
I'll ask James to see what he thinks on Monday, but it would do the case no harm at all if it got the same or better numbers tonight & tomorrow (Saturday & Sunday).
I have sent a little message out to a few UK players on Facebook who may be interested in playing. Not sure if it will have any immediate impact but hopefully a slow burner that will result in a few players trickling over and giving things a try.

You can enter tonight's renewal HERE
Anything which brings players to the 4 card game is good by me, so I hope the numbers are similar or better over the weekend.
Repeat last night's numbers for 2 more nights, & I'm sure James will up the Guarantee & maybe add a £5 version - or a £20 version - too.

Early exit for me and bubbled the 5.50 FT but nice to see the numbers keeping up
There is always tomorrow
I see you are still in fighting, gl
