Decided to just play mtts tonight. Hardly play them at all nowadays online

    Went ok.
Played the 3 dtd games for some reason. Bust them all quickly thank goodness.
Satted into main. Got a head and then bust, so small profit there.
Came 7th in £22bh. Ran pretty good to cash
    Bust the £5 rebuy
    Bust the £7 at 7
Came 5th in the Goldrush. Played ok in that and ran super super well. Got on final table with more than double 2nd place stack. Then bust in 5th! :)
Hand v EssexPhil I said to a friend that he had aces when he 3bet. So I called and flopped top pair. I checked and he bet and I said to my friend that  he had aces. Then I put him all in.
    He showed aces.
Next hand i opened 9s and got put all in. It plays so shallow that I was  happy that it was a call. He had 10s. GG me :)

Enjoyed most of it though. Had my fill of mtts for a while though o think. Back to dyms.
Made £62 on night so happy enough

    Thrills and spills tonight

Ok, I lied. It was all a bit dull actually.
Played goldrush and mini and didn't make no money

    Played a £3.30 plo8 dym and a £22 and £11 dym at proper poker.
Lost the little one and won the other 2.
I can see why Tikay does his bolllocks at the lower games now. They really don't respect your raises :)
    ..
Not feeling poker much at the moment. Bit odd, been like that for a while.
    ..
Braving the elements and having a bash at golf tomorrow. Hope my new stick arrives before I play.
    ..
Bought GTA today for £20. Don't play games much anymore but seeing as my PS4 that I won on here has just arrived I thought I should get a game. Feel a bit like Lambert playing children's games although i haven't quite gone as low as pokermon yet :) . Nephew wants to add me as a friend. He's YoloPooch. Think I'll have to decline.

Right, gonna go and shoot some people in the head

Nearly forgot. Had an X-ray on my knee on Monday. Doctor isn't convinced that it's my cartilage this time. Years ago I did my ACL and then cartilage in that knee. Was told then that I would likely get arthiritus early. Looks like it might be that
    Fml
Arthiritis at 40. I'm sure the chubby maestro will take some delight in the old man has arthiritis though :)

Derby doing well and you are still finding things to be grumpy about.

Enjoyed watching the local sports roundup, must be nice being in the same region as the premiership champions, leaves so little time for the others. Especially Burton. Are they not in the East Midlands too. I herad their manager was really popular in Nottingham and Derby, so I would have thought they would have given them some air time. As it happened didnt get to see the PNE game goals.

Football was good at the weekend
Mighty Rams won their 5th game on the bounce. Forest on Sunday

Aguero, In the top 5 worst challenges ever?

I want Liverpool to win the title but not sure how it can happen with the two keepers they have.

All the other challengers have top class keepers. City have Bravo for example

Problem for Liverpool for as long as I can remember.
Ray Clemence their last proper keeper?

Poker was interesting at the weekend.
Online Saturday and live on Sunday

I've run really well for a good while now but Saturday was testing.
The start set the tone. I 3bet aces in a sat for the £55. Was 4bet shoved on and I was down to two outs with my aces after the flop of 997.
    He'd shoved with 94off.

I moved up the levels a bit at dyms and lost with aces the first 5 times I had them. Continued to run like shittt and was down a good amount. Saw 2 55s where the line ups were awesome. Way softer than any £11 £16.50 or £22 I'd played and so I had to jump in. Fortunately I won those two with helped.
Overall I lost a fair bit but it wasn't the disaster it could have been.

    Sunday I went to Derby.
Bust the comp in fun lol live fashion and then sat at cash. My luck changed...

Reina at his peak? Seem to remember him being top fantasy footie pick for clean sheets for a few seasons. He also beat Clemence record for clean sheets and I would argue Clemence had a better defence in front of him.

I immediately flopped a set and got it in v 2 flopped straights. Filling up on the river was pretty nice for a £320 pot.

A few hands later I opened the old 42cc and saw a Q 4 2 flop 5way. Led out and picked up a couple of calls. Turned a flush draw with the Kc falling and led again and got shoved on by a rather ambitious Q8.
Held and had a nice stack.

Then I got into a row. That doesn't normally happen believe it or not. I'm a happy drunk.
I don't like the player. He thinks he's very good and tells everyone how to play. He's positively terrible and does his money every week. Most weeks he's off his head on something.

I was playing a hand v a nice lad that I'd been chatting to all night on my left. He's rumoured to be sponsored by a bakery! We got to the river and he bet more than pot. I had 10s on a K high board and he didn't look too comfortable.
I asked the dealer if I could show my hand and was told yes. Player I don't like goes berserk and starts shouting for the floor. Against the rules and I'd only done it to get information. Different casinos, different rules. I'd never done that at Derby before and it appears that they don't allow it. However, as I'd asked and been given permission, my hand was still live. Seeing as he'd just about punched the air when he saw my hand, I decided to fold and he showed me a weak King. I said that of course i done it to get information. That wasn't in question.
For the next 10 minutes I got called a lot of names and my etiquette was questioned which annoyed me. This guy tries a lot of angles and also has another really annoying habit. He walks in with a tablet and huge ridiculous headphones. He doesn't put the headphones on, instead turning up the volume high, and watches bloody XFactor.

We the played a hand and i put him all in with 2 pair on the flop. When the 3rd club dropped on the river I said that his flush was good and showed my hand. He proper slowrolled turning over his cards. Knob!

He was busto 20 minutes later anyway so all smiles in the end :)

So after all that I ended the weekend about £75 up. Must be easier ways to make £75 :)

8 days with no update can't be right for a proper excellent diary (ty for your comments on the troll post, but we know that thing was never even close to excellent!)

Are poker, football and life just running too well at the moment for you to have anything to grump about on here?

    Afternoon Shaky :)

    Marv
I could be watching the football this afternoon with a nice hot drink and a sticky bun. Instead I'm at Wirksworth about to go on the Santa train at the Ecclesbourne Valley Railway.
I have used the restroom and have been offered the opportunity to buy 1950's carbolic soap. I have declined.
    It's also very cold

Played some mtts when I got in. Usual stuff. Feel like I've run really badly at mtts for a long time now.
Played some dyms. After a sticky start I ran amazingly and ended up making a few quid on the night.

Not posting much as not a great deal is happening really.

The only new stuff is that

    I'm crapp at golf
    I've been to the dentists
Derby have become good (that actuallly is new)
    I've started whining about poker

Looks like I moaned in a mtt win the other day.
Won the Priority main last night for £560. Really pleased and it helps the confidence although in all honesty it would have been hard not to win it with how I ran.

    Bollockks!
Just been told that I have arthiritis. Physio to begin with and then steroid injections. You may be surprised to hear that they consider me too young for a knee replacement.

Feel very sad right now. I want to play football with Harry.

Guess I need to read up on it all first

Any ideas on the best way to approach this?

Just received a parking charge notification. £80 reduced to £48 if i pay within 14 days.

It's for being parked at McDonalds CarPark for 5 hours and 57 minutes. Maximum free parking is 2 hours.

    Thing is, i wasn't.
McDonalds is next to the petrol station where I get a latte from every day. They've sent me 2 pics of my registration plate and the times of day when I have supposedly entered and left the car park. Not where I'm parked.
The first one is from 17.44. This makes sense as I would have gone there to get a drink before picking up Harry from his Grandmas in Ashbourne at 18.00.
I assume that the 2nd one is when I've popped out late on to get another drink.

I'm sure the staff at the petrol station would confirm that I'm a very regular customer. Would it be a problem that I didn't go into McDonalds? Nothing on the signage says that you have to go in there. It just says that it's 2 hours free parking. I suppose I could just say that I got 2 burgers that day.

Just thought. They must also have the camera on me leaving at approx 17.50 and returning later on as well.

    Any advice?
