In Response to Re: Get in the Hole! 2013 Season! (The Barclays + Johnnie Walker) Year Profit: +554.96pts : mega sigh 2 arghh 2 players backed de laet and Kuchar both ew. After 3rd round no hope De laet and kuchar leading. Counting the cash now they both have oppo last days and looks like Im out of money again. thanks!!!! Posted by vaigret
sorry all not boasting , the last time I looked he was -10 out of first five, just seen all the others fell away and De Laet finished tied 2nd.
Thanks to all who have talked about him all year and made me look at him twice.
Seems De Laet has been the talk of this thread a lot and at 150-1 he seems a good bet this week in a tournie he came tied fifth in last year . Also fancy Kuchar 30-1 Posted by vaigret
WP mate! shame kuchar collapsed could of been a very good event for you

Same as flash not much research this week. Still a bit gutted after two weeks of so much promise falling away to nothing. It's all matt kuchars fault and if he wins this week I think I'd have to hunt the ice road trucker down!!
wales
Aphibarnrat 60/1 Quiros 60/1
Deutsche Bank
Schwartzel 40/1 Bubba 40/1
Used my £5 free bet to put on 80 ew 6p trebles on (deep breath lol)
Wales: Jimenez & rumford Deutsche: mickelson and rose Web.com: Todd & Bettencourt Challenge tour: Shaw and Stal Seniors: Wolstenholme & Wesselingh
Should keep me interested somewhere along the way!
Not sure who he is, but I've just had a couple of quid on Karlberg @ 28/1 coz he's 5 under par! He must be useless to still be that price on that score though. Posted by DOHHHHHHH

Just catching up and absolutely delighted to see this
Thankfully I was on DeLaet again myself and managed to get 175/1, also backed him ew at 33/1 for top ROW, just a pity an aussie won, but another payday thanks to Graham DeLaet!
Just had a 'speed study' of the Deutsche Bank and have to say the top dozen in the betting all look to have strong cases this week, which is rather boring.
I've read that putting could be a big factor this week, so I'm going with my own interpretation of the putting stats and who are, the in-form putters at value odds, so all ew first 5:
Rickie Fowler - 50/1 Martin Kaymer - 80/1 Chris Kirk - 150/1
finding it difficult to choose between lefty and rose for this. possible outsider bubba. think a proper gud 'un will win this ala scott last week. no bet as yet on 1st round or outright, but done 3 balls for 2mo

A big thank you Darty, so pleased you had him as well I was worried I was the only one to do him that week. That would have been unfair on all his regular supporters.

So I backed this fella after 9 holes of round 1.
He was -5
27 holes later, he's +9 and missed the cut.
14 shots gone in 27 holes, don't watch a load of golf, but there can't have been many blow ups as bad as that???

Sentimental Week! No real time for studying this week, so I went with a few sentimental favourites and hunches. My main bet is Gregory Bourdy 40/1, so nice start for him and I've got him doubled with Graham DeLaet at 60/1, so I'll sleep well tonight. I'm also on the underrated and under the radar John Parry 80/1and doubled with another favourite of mine GMac at 66/1. Then Danny Willett 55/1, who finished +2 despite a quadruple bogey 9 and doubled him with Lee Westwood 40/1. Posted by TheDart
Well after the conclusion of the Wales Open and Graham DeLaet's third round 62, I might not sleep so well tonight

Monday finish for Labor Day, it's what the Americans want!
Thanks for the VBOL captain, it also means I've also learnt a new text speak word or is it just JJ speak
Yes, tasty odds, longgggggggggg way to go though.
Edit. and Sergio is going to take some catching and there's probably another dozen players who will fancy their chances tomorrow

Everything's crossed for DeLaet today
A 4 way all in pre flop with JJ, who me?
I'm afraid it was me, in my defence, I believe you were first to act and went all in, then big stack called you, I 'tanked' for 1.2 seconds and reraised big stack by shoving all in, then next to act shoved all in, with big stack calling a few more chips to make the 4 way.
I'm pretty sure when the cards were turned over I was ahead, and first thoughts were, please don't anybody hit, to which flopped quads for me followed.
Yes, not one for the poker purists, but very enjoyable for me, sorry mate

DeLaet has been good value in the Rest of World markets this year, but at only 14/1 this week, I prefer the without favourite market with SkyBet.
Graham Delaet - 45/1, 1/4 odds ew first 5 without the favourites
That's without, Woods, Scott, Mcllroy, Mickeson and Rose.
A first round morning tee time means I've been drawn into backing DeLaet at 60/1 ew for first round leader.
am i missing something regarding the mcdowell 3 ball bet thats still available yet all three have finished?
